It happens at the duel arena sometimes too. I think it happens when someone dies but their curse activates at the same time, so they respawn and then the curse animation appears. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. It can also happen that you get hit by a curse just as you die, so you see the ending of the animation on you as you spawn.
