I bought it as soon as i got over 84k loyalty points, worse mistake i ever made, could have bought jack of trades, green fingers, reverance and upgrade it all for that piece of junk. It does reduce damage but up to a cap, i'm not sure what the cap is so you may find that you use up all the damage soaking long before the 30minutes is up.
