I see attack, Defense, and another (Looks like a skull, so slayer?) on the top picture to the far right.

Alright, we have dragon full helm, dragon platelegs/skirt, dragon boots, dragon gauntlets/(dragon) gloves, and we need a dragon platebody and dragon kiteshield.

So the dragon items left are: Dragon kiteshield, Dragon platebody, Dragon warhammer, Dragon (regular, short) sword(lmao I don't think they'll ever make this one), Dragon claws, and Dragon picaxe.

That is a real nice find. Even though this don't mean that the dragon plate will be released anytime soon, it means that it will be released sometime though! And just that is awesome :)

Firstly, most of you suspect this will be dropped by adam/rune dragon.

 

Dragon chainbody, most legendary dragon item to the date, drops off some bug or a bunch of living dust.

 

Dragon axe is obtainable only from some lizard/men hybrids.

 

Dragon dagger/longsword are vendor items, alike scimitar, which neither have anything to do with dragons. Even dragon axe and mace are far away from being dragon drop.

 

 

 

For the quest chains, I really hope there is one. But, again, looking in to the past, neither of our dragon drops had quest chain. Meaning dragon legs and fullhelm here. Sure, helm had miniquest. but that's it.

 

 

 

alltough, if we look this at another point of view.

 

 

 

They brought dragon legs with dragon-only drop.

 

They brought dragon full helm with dragon only drop, and half of an quest.

 

there is door which definately leads to adamantite dragons.

 

 

 

Speculations may flow, but nothing is guaranteed. Better to hope for orst, so you can get positively suprised.

How many quests are there to date? I remember Recipe for Disaster was their 100th Quest. If we are close to the 150 Quest Mark, maybe that will be a Legends Part 2. And a new Half Shield for the Kite doesn't sound too out there. How the plate comes into existence may be different though. But again, there are 2 other Metal Dragons that need to rear their ugly heads.

on topic post, i won't buy it unless it is damn good, i see no reason to spend millions of gold on something that is just minutely better than what we have. it is cool looking though.

Regarding the dragon kite, does anybody remember the jagex release of 14 anagrams a few months ago which gave clues as to future updates?

 

 

 

Because one of these anagrams translated from "Guaranteed slimes sing" to "Legends must rise again." This suggests a sequel to the legends quest, maybe with it new "half-shields" for the dragon kite? Just scattered thoughts. That may coincide with a release of adamant dragons, which drop the other half of the shield?

 

 

 

Leaving rune dragons for the dragon platebody as it's unique rare drop.

 

The jump from steel to mithril dragons is considerable and ive seen players with maxed combat skills in all areas nearly die on the dragons.I cant imagine addy dragons or rune dragons without a hevay nerf on mithrils for a continuous curve of dificultys through the metal types.

 

 

 

I think that the dragon platebody is sat theyre waiting to be released in some form of future update which is yet to be determined.A dungeon most likely because theyre have been hints that theirs unsettling things happening far north with armadyl followers.Also when rares strt loosing theyre luster i think a plate will be released as a major just like the Gwars dungeon did to arres and the economy.

 

 

 

ps:please release the dragon warhammer first?That and a dragon mining pick is far more important than a new platebody which is worse than cheap breastplates that cost a couple of million gp.

I don't think it will be a Dragon plate but some other armour just looking Dragonish

hopefully this is a dragon plate which will then bring down the d chain price :)

This platebody looks good to me, although I do question the purpose of bringing out such a piece of armour after so long. It seems to me as if dragon's time has come and gone. Nowadays there are so many better alternatives to this armour set. In the end this plate is just going to be another overpriced cosmetic item.

I feel that if they do bring the dragon plate out its just to finish the the dragon set because now that their is so many other options for armor I see no point to not releasing the plate now that dragon armor isn't the best armor.

That mouth thing looks a lot like the one on the DFS. Coincidence?

Besides the fact is looked 10x better than any other dragon equipment out there, I'd say they'd need to redo the dragon armour and weapons to match nicely with that. If not, it's going to be an awesome armour, degraded by pathetic looking eqiupment.

 

 

 

Also, it does look similar to a dragons mouth, but the overall design reminds me of Tz-Tek(sp?)? I also don't think it'll be released in the coming months, but it may. What it will do on the GE is quite interesting though.

It looks like a real nice drawing. In my opinion it could be the first suit of armor that covers the ENTIRE body. Still, that's just me.
