And here's yet another house-multi-floor-something-went-horribly-wrong-ahhhhhh glitch!

Please find below a quick summary of the bugs we've fixed since the launch of High Detail.

 

 

 

- Dig Site NPCs have had new chatheads applied

 

- Female Canifis NPCs fight animation glitch has been fixed

 

- Bridge shadows have been adjusted

 

- Death animation of farmers has been improved

 

- Black holes have been closed

 

- Several roofs have been fixed

 

- Various rendering issues on interfaces have been tweaked

 

- Player using a kiln animation has been adjusted

 

- A couple of Treasure Trail issues have been resolved

 

- Hunting hats now look better whilst doing emotes

 

- An unlit fire should now be unlit!

 

- Ahrim the Blighted now dies without his skirt stretching

 

- Many ladders and stairs that weren't working have been fixed

 

- A huge number of chatheads and helm combinations now look correct

 

- Colours on female God Wars clothing have been restored

 

- POH banners now render properly

 

- Coffins now open/close correctly

 

- A bookcase was visible through the walls behind it

 

- Female dragonhide was being stretched when doing emotes

 

- An NPC's chathead and their actual head were appearing differently

 

- Clipping issues on the Trouble Brewing stepping stones have been resolved

 

- The Soul's Bane rift entrance has been improved

 

- The Fullscreen toggle has been clarified

 

- Trouble Brewing torches weren't providing any light

 

- Wearing an Amulet of Glory and a larupia top now looks better

 

- POH mounted Amulet of Glory now appears properly

 

- Women with long hair and a hairband should look fine again

 

- Master wands are now held correctly

 

- Snowballs are back to normal

 

- Symbols now render correctly on monks' robes

 

- The Entrana glassblower is now more careful when making glass

 

- Barbarians' clothing has been rectified

 

- Players feet shouldn't appear to be under the floor

 

- When players are knocked out they won't disappear briefly

 

- The Rag and Bone Man's cooking pot has been sorted

 

- The Mercenary Adventurer's arms have been reattached to his body

 

- You can no longer walk underwater!

 

- Various armours have been adjusted to look better when worn

 

- The red pirate bandana and eyepatch should stay red while you wear them

 

- Tiaras are more realistic while worn by a player

 

- Aggie's cauldron was causing a stir; this is now sorted

 

- Red salamander traps near the the ZMI Altar have been restored

 

- Gold panning bowls from the Dig Site are now held correctly

 

- Various new textures have been adjusted or modified to look more realistic

 

- The Mime mask is now displayed correctly in all circumstances

 

- Certain interfaces now resize correctly in all resolutions

 

- The Cooking skillcape animation has been restored to its former glory

 

- Tall weaponry no longer sticks through the tops of short buildings

 

- An Agility shortcut has been added to the west of Draynor Manor

 

- Fishing animation issues have been resolved

 

- Spiderwebs on cupboards look better

 

- Saradomin staffs are now held in the correct position

 

- Rats in Evil Dave's basement no longer run around in circles

 

- Lava battlestaves are now easier to distinguish from air battlestaves.

 

- Trims on skillcapes have been fixed

 

- A floating statue and a tree have been grounded

 

- Magic Slayer dart skill guide information has been corrected

 

- Exiting the God Wars Dungeon via the rope should be easier

 

- Magic logs have regained their sparkle (again)

 

- Quick Chat has been adjusted to function correctly in fullscreen

 

- Keldagrim is now better lit

 

- The Robin Hood hat has been made bigger, due to player feedback

 

- Runite rocks have been placed where they were before, below the Lava Maze

 

- A Penguin in the Varrock Museum should now look right

 

- Some skeletons now respawn at the correct rate when they die

 

- Songs should now correctly resume after various jingles

 

- Cows now make a sound when they die and hit the floor

 

- A few map icons have been added that were missing

 

- The animation for female characters when fletching has been adjusted

Not everything on that list of fixed things were actually fixed it seems one atleast was made worse, in particular:

- A Penguin in the Varrock Museum should now look right

And ye the prices of haircuts is at 0 at the moment =P

 

Not sure about changing clothes.

I don't play at all in safe mode as HD works for me. Just to clarify those pictures were both taken in the current HD, by origional for the first picture I meant that it was the original way the penguin was in the current HD.

Heh :lol: I have one from hunter. Whenever I lean down to pick up a trap or something a big [bleep]e comes out of my behind. I'll get a pic for you soon.

 

 

 

It seems to be a problem with amulets. I experienced this while fishing/home teleing, but after removing my glory it was fine.

All in Low Detail

 

 

 

The roof on the brewery on Braindeath Island does not cut away.

 

The doors to Rashiliyia's tomb glitch through the hill.

 

The book in the Home Teleport spell glitches through your head.

 

Unicorns are attached to sloped terrain; they lean.

 

Mystic hats create tiny chat heads.

 

The floor of the second level of the Gnome Stronghold does not exist. It's difficult to get across it.

First skill to 70...

I hope that all of these glitches have been reported to Jagex from Runescape's website. It will make the HD experience a lot better overall if Jagex is able to fix all of the problems they seem to be having.
