If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person. I was looking through old weather records, and there is typically about one below average moth in six. For instance, April 2008 was described by the BBC as: "0.3C above the 1961-1990 average. Coldest April since 2001". Take a Physical Geography class. Global warming is not as big of a deal as the news makes it out to be. We're in a time (forgot the technical term) between ice ages. In this time the Earth gets hotter, like it is doing. It hasn't even climaxed at. Then it'll cool down and start another ice age. We've been having this cycle forever. Also the first major mega volcano explosion killed like 90% of the human population. There was something like 10,000 humans around at the time and a little less then 1,000 survived.. I just checked my class notes but it didn't look like I wrote the actually number down #-o . But I do remember this, It is the reason why we only see human activity in Africa early on in are history, because they are the ones that survived the mega volcano.
