About a year ago my friend was "raped" (She consented in a proper state of mind and apparently didn't tell him to stop)So... am I missing something here? What part of it is rape? Legally, if a woman changes her mind at a point, even after having sex, she can call rape even if she doesn't say no at any point. The worst part is that if the genders were reversed the man would get told to man up. There have been cases where men have been raped by their SO and the police just laugh at them.Source? The other case is if your drunk, your not considered legally capable of consenting. If she doesn't want to ruin his life on the grounds that she didn't actually say no, then I hope she does the right thing and says that in court, or outright refuses to testify against him and gets the case thrown out. Her parents might have forced her to go to the police, but they can't force her to testify against him. Off to the docotrs again. Two visits left then I won't be going so often. Got up a goodly bit earlier today than I did yesterday too, which is nice. Now if only it would stop raining, and get just a bit colder so that we could get more snow instead, and I might be able to go skiiing this year. I'm sure if you knocked them out, forced them with a weapon, or physically overpowered them then you could make the case that he was raped. Julian Assange is currently fighting an extradition over a women who he had consensual sex with, because she later saw him getting intimate/flirting with another woman. She had made him breakfast and even sent him happy messages before finding out. Another famous one, is the Duke lacrosse case. Or the Hofstra case. I'd let it finish and get it in the morning, but I have the second load sitting in the washing machine <_< Also, I'm not sure who thought it would be a good idea to get me anything that needs a cold wash and can't go through the dryer. Their nice sweaters, but I hate high maintenance. Had to comander the bed sheet and towel load as a delicate wash to get the sweaters through -.- On the plus side, I've started watching Babylon 5, and I have to say I'm really enjoying it. Aside from the part where I have it in interlaced format ([bleep]ing hate interlaced) which can be a tad annoying when you happen to notice it. It's also the first show in space to acknowledge something I've been noticing for a while. Their ships don't fly around with their engines on all the time, which wouldn't make any sense. With almost nothing in the way of friction to slow you down, the only reason you could possibly have to keep the engines running (unless you are accelerating) is if you are piloting a ship the size of our moon at a star (solar wind). Nice to see a show actually figured out that a space ship isn't a car on the highway. I might complain alot, but I also have reasoning behind it before you go jump down my throat assuming you know an ounce about the daily life I cope with. @Riku, She's got no choice. She needs a new HDD anyway + I have all her data on my Machine (Which good luck getting into) so she's at least paying me $50 for labor and storage, especially considering how destroyed that HDD was, PLUS $150 to buy the New HDD. And you totally have the right to do that. But don't you think that complaining about how you're ONLY making X dollars doing some computer work for a family member might not be a worthwhile thing to complain about? Complaining about things like that surely cannot help you feel much better, since I think you have some more important problems at hand. Only problem is that my date of birth on my GCSE certificate is completely wrong because my parents registered it wrong when I went into high school.
