Apparently tall white guys can get all drinks for free and are quite the catches around here... Average local is like 40 cm's shorter than I am :D

And apparently I was last seen last night at a burger joint with a smokin' hot blonde. I ended the night arriving at my hotel at 1.30 AM alone.

I have no recollection of that. I have no recollection of anything after the first few drinks as I hadn't eaten for 12 hours and had been sober for 3 weeks.

What the [bleep]? Why am I here buying all my drinks where I can just get them for free there.

This is at 9:30 at night in the dorms while streaming music but it beats my internet at home... I am on Ethernet though, because the wifi is utter garbage.

Looking into good funk songs with lots of bari.

So basically I posted two things that don't belong in this thread in this thread. Yay!

Well, that place would be Indonesia. As I said, I am about 40 cm's taller than an average local here.

I [bleep]ing love this place.

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

I find lectures depend pretty heavily on the subject, and the presenter. For my classes that use slide, my english prof is really good in that the slides cover some key points, but really, you're listening to her talk (the slides are mostly to prompt her, as they should be). Someone who reads their slides, or puts enough on that you get the idea reading them is just horrible; you'll be bored to tears. My english notes are far and above my best because the lecture gets you thinking, so you're actually just writing stuff down as people are talking. My computer animation class subscribes much more to the INFORMATION! school of slide making, so you spend a lot more time copying that using your brain for anything productive, and the notes consequently don't stick in your head as well.

Neither of my math classes use them, it's all how to do things, and examples. Might be more productive if we had chances to work out some stuff on our own, just because the professor can go through things so quickly that your usually copying than really thinking.

Dayum son. Obviously not peak usage at the moment.

I got a free tshirt today. And our hockey starts tomorrow. We're going to beat up some random Canadian college. And for the first time the pep band will play O Canada in addition to The Star Spangled Banner. Presumably we will also play Blame Canada at some point.

BUT HOCKEY IS BACK! All of my teams are playing now. Wings won yesterday, Griffins better win tonight, we better win tomorrow, and best of all, I get back on the ice in less than two weeks!

Moving out in just under 48 hours.

Excited.

I'm hoping you've found fast friends and you're too drunk to have updated us. ;)
More in the fast friends, mugged and now in hospital with amnesia boat here...

Ouch :( Did you lose anything valuable?

Found friends very easily, everyone's really friendly, but I have been absolutely shattered every morning.

I went out every night between Sunday and Friday, most of the nights were spent doing the same thing, dancing with friends and staying up till 4 or 5 in the morning only to wake up at 9 for introductory sessions and lectures. So worth it. Ive got some brilliant flatmates apart from this strange one who has 3 friends staying over all week even though guests aren't supposed to stay for more than 2 nights. And his friends dont even go to this University...

We're going to report him later on Monday if the friends are still there and using our kitchen and making things awkward.

People are always shocked when I say I'm doing Biochemistry, probably because I go to a University really good at social sciences, rather than traditional ones.

My room is great, although I didn't have cold water or an ensuite door handle when I first moved in. But it's all good, small prices you pay for an ensuite ;)

It's all fixed now. We have all kinds of animals on campus. Rabbits, geese, squirrels, ducks, it's beautiful!

But... I caught freshers' flu on the second night!

I still have awful coughing fits and feel generally groggy. But a real fresher parties on through all of that.

I'm going to play waterpolo this evening. All in all, I've had a very good start to University life

I think I may have been washing dishes wrong. I usually scrub everything with a sponge of dishwash soap and then rinse it under the running water. However everyone here seems to just fill the sink with warm water and dishwash soap and give it a scrub then leave it to dry with the soap still on it. Their way sounds a lot quicker.

Yeah, me too. I hate it when the dishes have soap residue on them. Not rinsing them off just seems lazy.

Last night I took my kids back home for a few hours so they could have Thanksgiving dinner with some of their mothers' family. I find it kind of weird that even though it's been nearly 8 years since we split, they keep inviting me to stay and eat with them on holidays. It's almost like they like having me around more than her.

THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...
