Randox Posted February 10, 2012 Share Posted February 10, 2012 My brother once gave me some very sound advice that once your drunk, with the exception of calling for a ride, or some sort of emergency, you don't touch your phone to talk or text, and you don't get on the internet and use it to post anything or talk to anyone. In general, I find this to be very sound advice (not that I can claim to have been 100% sober every time I have posted here or logged into RuneScape myself, much to several peoples amusement). Even if you are sober enough to objectively realize you are saying things that your shouldn't be saying, you might not be sober enough to care. Today I realize how much I miss the game Galactic Civilizations. I could never get into the regular versions of the game, but I like the changes the space version has, and I really like designing my own space ships. I guess it's not so stupid now, that I have seen a reason they might be doing it. Anyway, I just stopped at a gas station and cleaned my windows, since I couldn't see well, because of the sheer amount of salt and dirt stuck to them. Randox Posted February 10, 2012 Share Posted February 10, 2012 I can't remember where they left their car, but a while back we got a really good windstorm, and I think we were at the gas station getting fuel for the generator, and a family friend pulls up and their car is just caked in salt. Like, I think they got to the gas station by driving with their head out the window because their windshield was opaque. We weren't terribly far from the ocean, but I think their car was actually at the beech for some reason, so it got a salt water bath that dried on it. My parents seem to be close enough to a salt water body that hurricanes normally salt all the windows on the front of the house. You can still see through them fine, but they look filthy. My teammates weren't on their usual level, I sucked too on the first half, but for second half got meself together, made 4 blocks and took a boatload of rebounds and got to shoot over 8 free throws, can't remember exact number. :thumbsup: So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends. Instead of coffee and donuts being served at the weekly seminar, the new host of the seminars replaced the donuts with pizza and the coffee with beer. Nothing more fun than sitting back with a Stella and listening to somebody talk about how they can cure MS by resetting the patients immune system and the underlying mechanism that makes it so efficient.
