If you want free Big Macs, just ring up your local store and tell them you just ordered something, and they missed part of your order. They'll probably ask you to come back and get it or whatever, but tell them you can't because it's too far away, or inconvinient or whatever, and they should offer to send a voucher out to you.

 

 

Those people piss us off more than anything else. If you are going to make a false complaint, at least grow a pair and talk to us face to face. Hell, I'd give you the food for having the balls/ovaries to make a false complaint.

 

Speaking of work. I do not work for over 24 hours for once.

 

We started serving Triple Cheeseburgers today. We sold around 1100 of those between the changeover to lunch and 8PM. We sold nearly 1400 Big macs as well. I hate my job.

 

Now its time to kill and tbag noobs on Halo 3.

 

I don't think there are that many false complaints, I'm fairly certain most are genuine.

I woke up in the morning, checked my phone alarm, saw it was 5:30, decided to go back to sleep, and then woke up and it was 8. Turns out I dreamed up the first waking up, and my phone was still in the living room so I didn't hear it and slept in. >_<

 

Apart from that I'm eating Coco Pops. Which is good.

Scary thing is, I can't find anything required to buy for the cardio kickboxing, however, they always make us buy stupid unneccsary things. Like "uniforms" that are $300. I mean bizarrely expensive. Yoga ppl have to buy the yoga mats from the college (with the college stamp on them) for $65

You probably don't need like 90% of your college textbooks. Honestly I've gotten away with it in the past couple of years maybe buying 1 textbook a semester if that. I would wait to get the book and see if you actually need it or not. Can't tell you how much money I've saved that way lol.

Had a Physics test, really considering dropping it next year, instead of Ancient, as I had previously planned, I love Physics, but my teacher is terrible. I think I've learnt more from my sister than I have all year. I also spent all of last period thinking it was Friday. Then I realised it wasn't and was sad. Got a lift home with a mate to avoid catching the bus home and found that our new internet has kicked in. We're hitting 1MB/s download. Comparatively [cabbage] to other places, but living out here in the middle of nowhere, it's good, bro.

I've had a cold for the past few days. I feel a lot better today though! Just got a bit of cough but that's it. (The past few days with this cold has been hell for me!)

so far my week has been like this...

 

Monday - Worked in Tesco 6am-3pm then worked in the cinema 4pm - 9:30pm. Got 5 hours sleep Monday night.

Tuesday - worked in Tesco 6am - 3pm then worked in the cinema 4.30pm - 9.30 pm. Got 5 hours sleep Tuesday night.

Wednesday - worked in Tesco 6am - 3pm then worked in the cinema 5pm - 9:30pm. I managed to get 6 hours sleep last night.

 

Today...... been working this morning 6am - 2pm. I am supposed to be working tonight however my supervisor has demanded that I phone in sick (or be sent home) due to the fact he doesn't think I should work 4 15.5 shifts in a row. so I am now going to chill with some friends watch a film and then either going to ask Ross to come over tonight, or I am going to go to sleep mega early... depends on how I am feeling later.

 

My life kind of sucks and revolves around work right now :-(

Spent most of the morning wandering garage sales. Got a Carebears Felt Colorforms set for free, a Carebears Checker Set for $2, and two $30 Bionicles for $2 each.

 

Plus some Yu-Gi-Oh cards for my cousin, $3 for like 30 of them + a tin.

 

And had lunch at the local ice cream store, they sell hot dogs too... Kraut and pickles = epic hot dog.

Worked 6 1/2 hours today, which is the longest I've worked yet o.o Reason is I'm still in training though and it's my first job :P

 

Great thing is that the managers are real nice and so are the coworkers. Plus it's a local cafe in a building probably nearly two centuries old, so the atmosphere's great and everyone's friendly :thumbup:

 

Also will probably end up getting my PS3 tomorrow, along with Final Fantasy XIII, I'm so stoked! :D

I was promoted as well. I am now store assistant manager. Basically I get paid more and do less crap. Too bad I am quitting here in 3 weeks :/ I am putting in my two week notice in a few days.

 

We had someone buy 40 nuggets, eat them, come in, tell us they were too cold, and requested more for free. This same lady has done similar acts so she is put on our official blacklist for returned products.

 

I start college on September 22. I am anxious, yet dreadful of the day.
