I am no longer employed with McDonalds. I quit today. I got tired with how the store was being ran by the other managers and I got tired of the higher up people being total douche-bags.

 

Ok, the crew are supposed to put time stickers on all of the condiments we use for assembling food. I am the only manager who enforces that procedure. I came in today at 8pm and the time stickers on there expired at 1:30. So I wrote up the crew and the manager on line for not keeping track of the time stickers and using expired condiments. The tomatoes smelt like ass, the pickles were leathery. I get a call 5 hours into my shift from the franchise supervisor saying I need to be less harsh on the employees. When you have customers calling in complaining about crappy tasting food, something has to be done. There was a crew trainer and a manager on line, which means there should be no excuse for the condiments being out of time. Also, the crew running line ended up wasting 44 nuggets, 18 pieces of regular meat, and other products, equaling around 28 dollars in waste. My ass is going to get chewed for that. I get paid 75 cents more than crew now with no raise chance.

 

I will be working at a datacenter managing servers making 1.6 times what I made at McDonald's with quarterly raises and performance bonuses.

I'm currently watching 'True Beauty'. WHAT IS THIS GARBAGE?!

Wow, this girl is very shallow. She was like OMFG THIS GUY IS AMAZING and then when she found out what he looked like, she left. What a stupid [bleep]. I thought he was cute.

 

This show makes me feel angry at how shallow people are. Oh well, there's not much I can do.

Hopefully I can get all my philosophy stuff straightened out today, I need to get re enrolled soon....

We got a faster internet connection today. :) Upgraded from 2 Mbit/s to 8 Mbit/s, which is the highest speed available here.

I found out what I'm probably doing tonight, and it isn't giving breaks. I'll be doing a job that is meant to be done by packers, but apparently they don't have enough. And so I get to stand boxes up all day. Whatever sanity I have regained in the last couple weeks will be lost once more by the end of today.

Well I think I'll finally get Xbox Live tonight because I now have the $100 for a wireless adapter. But I have PSATs tomorrow at 8 in the morning so I probably won't have much playing time tonight.

 

The Westboro Baptist Church counter-protest next week is gonna be pretty sweet. Hopefully someone doesn't do something stupid so WBC sues the school or something, but there's gonna be cops there and stuff. Ideas for signs I could make?

Today in chemistry we had a 40 minute discussion about the edibility of glass.

Friday night, 7:30pm I watched a debate between the VP of PETA and a student from the University of Minnesota Debate Team on the topic "Is Eating Meat Ethical?".

 

The VP of PETA pretty much won.

 

After that I biked to Chipotle, bought a chicken burrito bowl, biked back to my dorm, and here I am eating alone whilst listening to some Sky.fm Dreamscape.
