Short sleep last night, it was raining and I was in a tent, got perhaps 5 hours of sleep. Afterwards, I chilled around a bit with my friend and left back home at around 14:30, arriving home at about 18:00. Tired, but damn it, the show was awesome. At one point, Josh Homme was talking to a girl who was holding up a sign that said "Josh, I wanna make it wit chu <3".

 

"You're pretty. I'd love to go get a drink with you after the show, but I can't since I don't drink anymore.

 

I don't drink any less either, you know." and he takes a few sips from a bottle of vodka.

 

Too bad their show was a bit early, but Linkin Park played later and everyone was singing along to their more famous songs (In The End, Numb, Closer, etc). Then later discovered an awesome band: Hurts.

 

All in all, that was great fun.

 

Lucky, was it a QOTSA concert? What was there set list like?

 

Yeah, it was a QOTSA concert. They started with Feel Good Hit, played most of their more famous songs (No One Knows, Little Sister, 3s and 7s, Go with the Flow, etc), some that are a bit less famous (The Fun Machine Took a [cabbage] and Died, Better Living Through Chemistry) and I honestly cannot remember which song they finished with, which is a damn shame.

 

Slept long till 1 pm today. Damn, it's been many years since I've done that.

Last night was Canada day as some people have been saying, sooo:

Before heading out to the bar I bought a 12 of MGD and went to a friends'. Then two of his friends who always drink our beer showed up with their own 12 of MGD and some steaks. We thought this was a refreshing change but they COULDN'T OPEN THEIR CASE SO THEY GRABBED ONE OF OURS! Normally I wouldn't care but this was one of those, I just raised your hopes just to bring them back down moments.

 

This turned our fun-relaxed night into a drinking night. All in all five of the 24 beers were open when the two got up to cook their steaks, which was when we decided to drink all their beer (and ours) so they would be dry when they came back. It took three of us about 30 minutes to drink 20 beers, thus leaving two left when they came back. We were so bummed out that we failed by only two beers, it ruined Canada day. But then we found more beer in car trunks and in depaneurs.

MGD 12 packs have a handle on the top of the case and a weird way of opening them; but it's not freaking rocket science.

Whatever they deserved what they got, I just finished my own 12 case of PBR Dry and am now cooking food before going to bed. Tomorrow is Sunday.

Parents are out, sister is out, brother hibernating in his room, girlfriend over yessss. So why am I on Tip it? ;_; Because she's watching a damn soap opera. I curse TV at times like this.

Lazy day for me. Did a little bit of art just now, listened to some music on my hi-fi.

Heading out to my friend's house to work on a platform that will have around $600 worth of fireworks mounted on it. Then we will be manufacturing home-made explosive devices from taking apart mortar shells. It should be a blast....no pun intended :-P

Hurray for headache. Also very annoyed that lately I haven't had many hours. I'm not really up for looking for a second job and I really love my current one.

Went to see Transformers 3 today. I don't see why everyone disliked it so much; the action was better than the first, the plot was decent, and the new Megan Fox was hotter than the old one.

 

Movie food is so overpriced though. It was $17 for a large drink, large popcorn and a bag of M&Ms.

 

Now I'm probably just going to play some tf2, if anyone wants to play add me: 2Sporks1Toaster . I'm a free account though, and I haven't figured out how to accept friend requests.
