July 30, 201016 yr I can only ever breathe properly through one nostril at a time, and the nostril changes every little while. I think it's really weird, so I don't tell anyone about it. :| It'll change nostrils if I'm lying on my side or something, too. The other nostril always will feel like it's clogged or something. This is completely normal. Well, supposedly. I SWEAR I stumbled upon a page that said something like 95% (maybe 85%?) of people breathe through one nostril - changing nostrils 'cyclically' e.g you breathe through your right nostril for four hours, then breathe through your left nostril for four hours after that I can't find the page now though.
