In my opinion it was born a mutated, diseased wretch of a mini-game. It should be put out of its misery. It would be funny to see more RWT prevention, but I can't see them removing it. Again, just my opinion. No need to go crazy if you like Bh. :

The greatest predictor of future actions is past behaviors. Seeing as how JaGex has made many decisions very similar to the one in question, that's proof enough they will make another decision just like it...whether or not this is going to be it, we'll have to see.

Even if they don't change anything about Bounty Hunter, just about everyone who ever played it will participate more in the PvP worlds. Therefore, it doesn't matter if they change the system because no one will use it. Chances are, if they do make it safe and all that, it'll probably end up making more people play it after PvP worlds are released.

They could make BH safe but not everyone will want to PK like the old Wildy. It makes sense to keep BH for a more 1v1 based PKing system where you get the items you kill for.

 

Especially if the system is bogus and the rewards for killing someone in a PvP world are rubbish, an amazing kill and a rubbish reward will soon see the PvP worlds empty. On the other hand if it's a great system with great rewards then they will stay full.

 

But, like I said, some people won't want to all out PK like the old wildy and may prefer BH style PKing.

BH was just a temporary minigame anyway. It was flawed in so many places, I'm so glad they are getting rid of it.

Yeah I think they're definitly going to keep BH around - but use the way kills work for the PVP worlds - and not just full out drops like before.

 

 

 

But these pvp worlds are going to rule!! I can't wait to train agil in the wildy like you could in the old days and stay forever by pking people for more food :D I haven't been this excited for pvp EVER!

Yes. I was hoping BH would be temporary. With the new pvp worlds, Jagex has every opportunity to kill BH once and for all, and with it the only way to RWT will be through junk-trading or account sales/powerleveling. Much easier to track.

I guess they can keep their trashhole of a minigame if they like it. But add another rule to it, 1, an entry fee of like 100k for the 100+ crater, and 2, make it safe. So that you drop the entry fee on death. And ofcourse without the 3 minute penalty. This would also stop people camping at the exits looking for an easy way out. Maybe add a death penalty that if you die you have to wait 10-15 minutes until you can enter again. And perhaps add a 50k rule instead of 100k for F2Pers.

 

 

 

More people going there, without losing gargantuan amounts of money spent on armadyl godswords to a potential rwter.

Yes, RWT does happen a lot in BH, and yes, a lot of people hate the rules of it. But wasn't it like that in the wilderniss too? People were fed up with the rules of honour and strayed away from it, calling pkers names, yadiyadiya. These fanatic bounty hunters ( even though it is DEFINITLY not my playstyle ) deserve not the same fate of the Wilderniss Pkers.

 

 

 

I say we take that bended piece of scrapnell and bend it some more. So the people will still have their playstyle remotely intact.

 

 

 

On one view I can see Jagex removing it because of RWT, on another view I can see the designers altering the code so that their coding/modelling time isn't wasted.

That's not how an argument works. You don't set up a theory and then ask people to prove you wrong, you set up an argument and then first have to show your evidence. Mindless speculation does not constitute valid evidence, and it may seem like a copout but "no proof, didn't happen" is indeed a valid response.
