December 9, 200817 yr over 9000 :twss: :twss: I laughed.... I don't think mine would be that high because I spend my gaming time on CoD4, WC3, RS, and console.... So individually none of them are probably that high but if you put them together.... I can't accurately take a guess because I have made so many accounts over the years and taken a lot of time off. And I think most of you are way over estimating. There are like 8.7k hours in a year and I doubt some of you have played like 2 years straight.... If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature. ^^^At least I'm not the only crazy one
December 9, 200817 yr mine would be between 3000-4000 hours. i took anywhere from 2-3 month breaks before resume playing.
December 9, 200817 yr I have played for about 21900 hours by rough calculations...I have been playing for 6 years :D my brother, 14000 hours my cuzzo 24000 hours rofl. I think those amounts of hours can't be right at all. Lets say you played 21900 hours over 5 years, that should mean: 21900/5/365=12 That should mean 12 hours a day playing RuneScape, sleeping will cost you like 8 hours a day, your job or school will cost you like 6 hours a day, and lets forget about all other stuff in real life (holydays, party's, watching tv)... I think it's completely impossible to play this amount of hours, it will be more like 2 or 3 hours a day avarage. Now I don't wanna call loads of you guys nolifers or something, but I seriously can't believe that some of you have played like 12 hours a day for over 5 years.
December 9, 200817 yr (Almost) 7 years of RS so about 10K hours. That's more than a year! :ohnoes: :wall:
December 10, 200817 yr Over 9000, and I'm not being sarcastic. My stats and monster examine guide probably make that obvious. :? Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.

December 10, 200817 yr Why is it that you guys would find a high amount of hours depressing? As I previously mentioned, non gamers may spend the same amount of time on the tv, or some other hobby. What is the difference? :-k non gamers could also spend that time mastering a musical instrument or socialising more or studying harder for exams and tests, that would have a far greater impact in their future lives than playing a game. True, though I think there is much too learn from Runescape such as social aspects of life, and cultures through becoming friends with people originating in other countries. I suppose if you play Runescape as a solo game it would be depressing to look back but I play it as a social game and am active in chatting etc. I find that my time spent on Runescape has been very rewarding and I would not trade it for anything. PS I have probably logged in half a year or so. No regrets. :) Actually socializing with others in real life and socializing with people of different races and cultures teaches you about the social aspects of life. Playing runescape teaches you how to socialize with people online, not in real life. There is a huge difference. Many people turn to online socialization because they have social probems in real life. I fail to find how spending hours socializng online without the "perks" and "obstacles" that come with socializing in real life helps with real life socialization. If anything it makes the person more secluded and less inclined to socialize in real life.
December 10, 200817 yr If you could see your total play time, would you? What do you think the number would be? What would you have spent doing most? I wouldn't want to see mine, myself... But my playtime would be at least 1500+ hours. Wait, I thought about it... Probably more than that... I'm not even going to estimate, I'm too scared! I sent a message to jagex customer service awhile back to see if they could give me those details, but they responded saying they can't give that information out for security reasons. :| =mtw=i smoke and i drink does that make me mature Not mature, it just makes you cool..::RollinOn XTC::.Total::1953Combat::131.1/123.1 dont take it personal... im old-school-as-f**k
December 10, 200817 yr Around exactly ~9873 Hours, good times.... You can also use x-fire to track your daily playing too. ;)

December 10, 200817 yr I've played my share of time, and I really wish I could have that time back (Don't we all..). I am now just realising how much time I wasted on RS and for what? Some higher level account no one will care about? I guess I had fun getting here but I finally realized how pointless runescape can be. But when you think about it, the time spent was mainly getting higher skills. I'm ok with the fact that I made a few friends though. Tbfgraphx14Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass.
December 10, 200817 yr I actually remember a conversation between a Jmod about this once, not too well but some of it. They actually have the times recorded but when I went to ask why they didn't release any of it he said for personal private matters or whatever whatever. But I guess they do have it all, too bad we can't get it. I'm too scared to really take an estimate here. I've played way too much to even think how many hours I've put into my account.
December 10, 200817 yr Going to estimate for mine, through various accounts, RSC-Present would be around 15,000 hours possibly. Scary. :ohnoes: Retired Crew Member | Retired RuneScape Player
December 10, 200817 yr mine would be over 5000 hours... 3 hours a day for 4 years... as for what i do the most.... i have no idea as i never train 1 skill for more than 5 hours.... after about5 hours i get bored and train something else.... all my stats are 65+ too
December 10, 200817 yr over 9000 :twss: :twss: I was gonna say that  seriously, I have no ideal how much time I have spent playing Runescape. Out of all that time, I would have to say 70% of it was worth it. the other 30% would be picking flax and wasting my time deciding what to do, just to end up doing something else after wards... Seeing as i started in... um. January, of 2005? might be 2006... and I spent a lot of time playing, possibly 5k-10k. This might be way off though. I don't have a set time that I play per day, and I don't play everyday. Although I have spent upwards of around 10 hrs in a single day (no, not for skilling, it was making money... 1.4m.... yeah not good I know :( ) so yeah, I would like to see it... and then by the time that number has doubled, I want to have gotten more time efficient
December 10, 200817 yr I'd want to see mine, just out of curiosity... the other games i played before RS had it...
December 10, 200817 yr I would be afraid to see mine, it could easily be 10,000 plus, I have been playing for over 7 years. Started Runescape in August of 2001
December 10, 200817 yr hopefully ot over 2k. what a waste of my life : 99 cooking achieved on december 7th 2008
