Oh believe me, I can spend days in a Mac Store. Haha, how about clothes shopping? IGoddessI Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 Different circumstances :D For example, maybe the poor girl is sad, lonely and has no friends in high school. Opinions are more likely to mean something to her compared to somebody who is confident about their looks and already has someone who thinks they're beautiful and tells them every day. Age is a factor too. When you're younger you're more likely to care what other people think. As you get older, find a partner etc you tend to care less what other people think and start to concentrate on your own family, as you become aware that their opinion, is really the only that seems to matter. It could mean the world to one person but the only time it means anything to me is when it comes from the love of my life, every morning. For that reason alone, it means nothing to me but could definitely mean something to somebody else. And of course, the minor point of projecting it back on to the author of the response to help them realize personal attacks aren't nice (we both know that one well :lol: ).
