Caromon
There are 7 suspected cases in my city and they haven't been put on that Google map. Also, looking back at the posts from a week ago this started as a joke and has escalated to a Class 5 pandemic and if this keeps up this will not be fun... IGoddessI
I'm interested to see what happens but annoyed with all hype from the media and public. They finally got bored with Obama and the economy. It would just be nice to watch a news show that gives the facts without the drama. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours. Lenticular_J
I could miss up to two weeks of school (makeup free) if it's found within a 42-county radius of my town. Happened to my cousins. Sweet gig so long as only a generally healthy person gets it, and has time to get to a doctor. I would have been diagnosed with it if I'd had my regular flu (I had it like two weeks ago) now, according to my dad. Swine flu has the same symptoms of a bad flu or stomach virus, apparently. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

That can't be, the county next to mine has multiple confirmed cases and nothing has happened except people saying "wash your hands" which people don't do unfortunately, even after going to the bathroom. Lenticular_J
That's wierd. Of course, 42 counties is a pretty small area. And I'm not sure if school would be canceled for that long. A lot of college classes around here are canceling though. I'm only saying what the automated phonecall thing said. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

warren211
Everyone in my school is making a mountain out of a molehill. Every time someone sneezes or coughs, there is always that one ignorant or joking moron who goes "holy crap he has the swine flu". I don't see the big deal about it. It's not always fatal, and there are some treatments for the symptoms (not necessarily cures, but treatments). Mexico just is a bit too poor to treat every victim, so instead airports and public areas are being closed and hospitals are being overrun and flu victims are being quarantined. [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.[/hide]Apparently a lot of people say it. I own. http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun. Howlin0001
"Worst case scenario, the vast majority of humanity dies. I really don't see what we're all worrying about." Yes, my teacher actually said that today  Ireland's first confirmed case of it was announced today, the infected recently returned from a holiday in Mexico and currently is in isolation, they're taking it very seriously. Slightly Ot but heard this on the radio yesterday [hide=Stupidity of Irish politicians]Radio presenter: Well has the government any way of dealing with this problem Mrs. Harney Mrs. Harney (Politician): Yes, we've been preparing for an outbreak similiar to this for a long time, we've currently many implantations to deal with such a scenario, we're currently testing 3 possible reports of the case RP: Well when can we expect the results? They've been tested since yesterday morning Mrs H: We can't expect them till tomorrow, they're currently being tested on mainland Europe /facepalm throughout Ireland, thought we were prepared for this?[/hide] Lol also the fact they said were ready and we have 2 million vaccines ready, but we have a population of at least 4.5 million people? AndyPandy
I'm ill ATM with a really bad throat. I'm scared... :ohnoes: So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth, These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf, Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in, Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything, Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel, Tear up the book and write your own damn rules, Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got, And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut, And realise that the other world that you're always looking for, Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door, And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas, After all, you were put on the earth to do this, So shine your light so bright that all can see, Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be. Returned3
Local newspapers here say that the Swine Flu is not as serious as it makes out to be. Majority of the Singaporeans do not worry about Swine Flu at the moment according to it. 00:00:0500:00:0400:00:0300:00:0200:00:0100:00:00 Break the Walls down! mmmcannibalism
From what I am hearing, the actual virus is just a bad flu and not that dangerous; the main concern is the virus mutating into something worse that would be fatal more universally. Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.
Star.
Oh grrrrreat. "Pandemic 'could kill 750,000 in UK'" http://news.uk.msn.com/uk/article.aspx? ... ocid=today In the worst case, there would be 2,000 hospital admissions per 100,000 people - or 1.2 million people. There would also be 1,250 fatalities per 100,000 - or 750,000 people. This is just bringing unnecessary worry to people with its exagerratedness. ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢

After passing away early this morning, he rose from the dead and lunged at his mother. Don't you know the first rule of MMO's?
