but tbh most of this thread i have read it's all beeen about drumgun, i'm friends with drumgun but isant this thread about first to 200m all not just talking about 1 person personal life and stuff :o

 

Nice try! But you're rank 16!! I know it's only a matter of time although and I can't wait to comment on your progress in the top 15 weekly updates because I have a feeling your skills breakdown is one of the most efficient out there (HP/slayer ratio, no effigy combo skill locked, lots of fast skills open...).

highscores goes by lev then exp, so paperbag and everyone else who u talk about are not top 15.

Jamie, this thread tracks the top ranks by Total Xp, not by the RuneScape Overall hiscores. Deal with it, you're rank 16.

I noticed a few comments about Tezz's slayer pace, I was wondering about him using his effigies on slayer, I know someone posted that it's best to use effigys on slayer and finish off melee with cave crawlers..., if you don't do this though is it still best to effigy slay? I heard agility/fishing is now the best after free trade and even before free trade runecrafting. If that is confusing, here is it more simply: What is best to use effigies on? Will this effect Tezz in the long run?

 

Jamie stated well how the update will put Suomi far ahead in the race btw. Drumgun hasn't trained any buyables at this point really, so he can benefit from this as well...

If you want to get to 200m xp in all skills & have (near) unlimited money, it's best to use your effigies on slayer. Perhaps it's best to do crawlers only (just lamp your way to 200m slayer) but I don't know about that.

 

If you just want to max out level-wise, it starts to depend on your current levels (as we assume people (who slay for 200m) going for all 200m are maxed/able to open their effigies & have their effigy stat maxed).

 

@ above: 200m farm is nice, because he won't have to break up his training at all. Then again tree runs are like 900k xp/hr (150k in 10 mins) so it's just a very very fast buyable he's got done.

If you want to get to 200m xp in all skills & have (near) unlimited money, it's best to use your effigies on slayer. Perhaps it's best to do crawlers only (just lamp your way to 200m slayer) but I don't know about that.

 

It is best for Tezz to be using his effigies on slayer. He has almost the perfect amount of strength xp left to finish off slayer before maxing cmb. Since he is using his effigies on slayer he will get 200m slayer and 200m strength right around the same time. I hope he saves them all until he has just enough to get 200m slayer in one go and then for the rest of the day he uses all of his blue charms. He may be able to come close to Drum's daily record.

 

As for in general there is a small debate going on, pretty much only between Thai Tong and myself about that the optimal method of collecting effigies is. I made several proofs showing that it is best to do slayer and use all of the effigies that drop on slayer until 200m, then do the rest of melee at cave crawlers, but I also proposed the method of just doing cave crawlers for all of the melee and then using all of the effigies to max both slayer and RC solely from lamp and investigating. Thai found this method to be faster in regards to 200m all skills. Regardless of which method is faster it is still optimal to use your effigy lamps on slayer until it is maxed then start using them on RC.

So Currently Tezz is at 5 200m's but after Prayer, Strength, Slayer, and Summoning, he will be put up to 9... That's pretty good considering he's close to that atm, if he started buying the summoning ingredients... he is also at 116m Dung exp, so he can finish that off quickly as well for 200m Dung. If he can afford summoning and prayer, this gives him a massive chunk of exp in a relatively short amount of time, he could quickly jump a few ranks.... As well as have 10 200m's and be the only contender to successfully finish combat and slayer.... I like his chances :)

mm Dapledo has 1.3bil total xp.. but 200mil farm, 70mil rc, almost 70mil agil and 100mil fish, he could be a contender in about a year or so.. if he does some buyables.

 

dapledo is a contender weather he starts doing fast skills or not

 

all that matters is the hours he puts into his goal, him gettin another 100m agiliy and rc xp this year would be the same as 1b fast skills in the long run

 

he'll have fast skills to do eventualy so it doesnt matter if he goes super suomi and does every last hard skill first and flys under the radar

 

he may not be a well heard name untill 3 years from now when hes the one racing cooking herblore and prayer vs some poor guy with rc agility and fishing, thats when hell have the last laugh

Ive been Thinking of creating a List just like Langer but for F2pers.

Itll be Shorter "Top 5" to Start, It is almost Unthinkable for F2pers to Achieve 200mil All Skills (F2p) with Prayer and Runecrafting.

But Its Still good to Watch there Progress.

Also F2P is ALOT Slower then P2P, So There Wont be too Much Happening =P

Ill Probably do these Once a Month, Because of that.

Anyways Here Goes =P.

 

1. El Popo1 - 980.2 Mil Exp.

This Week/Month Popo has been Beasting Cooking, He's Approx 1-2 Weeks away from 200mil Cooking.

He's also 20mil Exp away from a Massive F2P Milestone 1Bil Exp.

 

2. S Diamant Y - 826.2 Mil Exp.

InActive.

 

3. Water - 712.3 Mil Exp.

Water, has been consistently training Strength and Magic at the same time for some time now.

I have recently Talked with Water, (I have Mentioned this in an Above post)

and Boy does he have some Plans hehe.

Ill say it again Water Plans to Finish 200mil Magic after 200m Strength

Then He plans to hit some Buyables, He said he's banked a few 200m Buyables hehe. Cant Wait.

 

4. Syzygy - 520.7 Mil Exp.

Syzygy isn't as Active as Water or Popo, Although when it comes to Wc he is hehe

Looks like he's Taken a Break from Dungeoneering and Gone back to Wc, no Plans.

Syzygy is nearing an Impressive f2p Milestone 100mil Wc. Note: he's done more then half of that on Yews in f2p.

Which is Insane, as theres no decent Yew Spots in f2p that arent covered in Bots or other People.

 

5. Alexern - 450.6 Mil Exp.

Alexern is the Least active of the 5.

I have Never Spoken too Alexern nor have my Friends =P

But just buy looking at his stats and Runetracker, He/She's working on Maxing Total without Dungeoneering? Either that or Fm lol.

sorry man, it sucks to be dead last in all of runescape

 

but yea suomi may eb 2500 horus ahead, so if he can make 4m/h at tds thats 10b and pay for pray + herb + con, anyways if he gets cash after free trade hes won

 

he has a farming hinderance but thats about it, i cant wait to see him do 200m slayer

 

another factor tho is that in the time this takes place, fast skiller wont be signifigantly faster, even if they do get faster and 200m con goes from 200 hours -> 150 hours, thats nothing huge.....however if you take rc zmi at 60k/h, and suddenly a zmi company emerges after feb 1, then suddenly 200m rc could become 2000 hours faster and make quite a dent...its the slow skills that could shift dramaticly on the horus left

I wonder if being rank 1 on the hiscores (especially in S U O M I's case), has huge advantages. I mean imagine how much money Zezima or even Gertjaars would get if they asked for donations. Also all the ess runners, would want trade you, just for being so famous.

I'm not quite sure what you mean but I wanted to do a spreadsheet that auto-updated everyone's remaining hours but google spreadsheets has a limit of how many import functions you can have on each spreadsheet. There might be a way around it by linking multiple spreadsheets but I don't care enough to research if and how it can be done.

That's what I was thinking but I don't know how to link two separate workbooks in google docs.

That's what I was thinking but I don't know how to link two separate workbooks in google docs.

Neither do I, but I imagine it might be possible if you published the players output sheet (so it has a permanent link), and then, adapting brainymidget's code for pulling GE prices, pull each player's respective outputs (so it's one import function to pull the data from one cell on a sheet accessed through a URL). For the top 15, you would end up with, on the final sheet with all 15 players, 15 import functions.

 

I haven't tried this myself, so it's just guesswork, but hopefully it might work.

 

EDIT: maybe you'd be better off talking with brainymidget or grimy bunyip, both of them have worked extensively with google spreadsheets.

Thanks for that list. I've always thought that people arent giving suomi enough credit for how much ahead he is compared to others. And 3k hours is enough to sort out any gp problems if he ever has the need to do so.

I figured it out. It'll take a bit because I think I have to do a spreadsheet for each player due to the import function limit but it shouldn't be too hard. Langer can you get me the updated max xp/h breakdown so I can update my values?
