Interested in seeing how the Farm update goes.... Magic, Farming, Crafting, Construction and Agility XP, hmmn. Magic we can already discount since you'd assumedly get it with mining / icewyrm slaying etc. farming is already a DnD and the xp-> time spent is silly already, craft and con are just quick buyables pretty much... but all together i guess the xp/h could be nice if the agil + craft aren't too low.

well if it is good farm exp maybe it shouldnt be discounted for people that dislike farming =P

It's not gonna be good xp unless you can go through an agility shortcut constantly to earn good xp/hr. When jagex say at the same time they mean 1 after the other in a short period of time.

ohai Viv. :) Sure, some people might not like training farming, but the same could be said for construction, and slightly less so for crafting, because they're all "quick" (xp/h for the time you spend doing them) skills. So any farm xp you get doing this new thing doesn't save you much time.

Update of the top 5 (expect the top 15 on saturday the 2nd of avril)

 

1. Zezima : 3,61BB xp (+2,3B). In a strange turn of events, Zezima reclaimed his long lost rank 1 by dumping a whopping 1742 effigies, using 132K slayer points and exchanging his funorb XP for runecrafting XP. Coming milestones: 100M sailing

2. Durial321 : 3,09Bxp (unknown XP gains). After years of negociation with Jagex lawyers, Durial321 finally won his trial and was awarded his old account back with extra XP in his choice of skills and the ability to kill and loot from Jagex Mods . Coming milestones : 1K blue phats banked

3. The Old Nite : 2,99B xp (-55M xp) Back from the grave due to the mexican Zombie outbreak of southern Sri Lanka, The Old Nite is back on the frontpage and I expect him to nolife dungeoneering in order to catch up to durial in the coming weeks. Coming milestones : 3B xp

4. Zarfot : 2,89B xp (+540M). Zarfot pulled a Drumgun on us!!! Zarfot discovered a new training method to earn 3M xp in runecrafting per hour. Rumor has it, his return to runescape was sponsored by Xtranormal who observed a decline in viewers in the weeks following Zarfot`s retirement in late november. Coming milestones : 2M youtube subscribers

5. Langerkiller : 2,83B xp (+2,41Bxp). Definitly the most well rounded, efficient, handsome and various other nice attributes, Langerkiller entered a deal with a bunch of ex top 15 players who gladly gave away some of their XP to this player in order to get better comments in the weekly update of the top 15. Credits goes to Paperbag who gave 800M xp in construction, prayer, herblore and ranged, Suomi who shed some of his agility, fishing and mining XP for a total of 600M xp and Drumgun who renounced to his melee skills, Hp skill and summoning skill for a whopping 1B xp. Aasiwat offered some cooking XP, but Langerkiller replied he didnt want a "noob" 200M skill. Coming milestones : I expect he will receive a lot of flack for entering the top 5 under these circumstances...

Here's something to make you laugh at just how sad Jagex is. I got a 3 day mute and apparently a 1 year forum ban (unless they made a mistake) for a "serious/major" offense:

Either Jagex doesn't see any sort of difference between days, months or years or they don't care enough to click properly.

 

I said that as a joke and I'm not racist, it was a funny South Park reference and I think Jagex took it waaay too far by giving me an ingame mute for a joke that I posted on the forums. I will seriously LOL if it's a 1 year forum ban but anything is possible seeing as it's Jagex I'm dealing with here. I explained that it was just a silly joke from a TV show (go watch 2 days before the day after tomorrow episode) but the appeal was denied. I even asked for the forum ban to stay and to unmute me ingame but that request didn't go through. Mind you, this was on HLF and everyone there jokes about stuff so it is really sad that they're taking it so seriously when it's not lol.

I don't care about the forum ban as much as I care about the ingame mute. I can't dg for 3 days now lol. It's a minor offense I guess and I should have only got the forum ban... They're making such a big deal over a joke. Not like I bashed on the whole Jewish religion or something L.

Sometimes a ban from the HLF is reinstated right away after you have been banned. Some cases it has to be manually done and can take a few days if Mat isn't around because you can't rely on the other Jmods. As Allar said the Expiry Date is when the offense gets a strike through it on the pillar things. Usually I've never seen Mat actually mute someone in game until today when Neekle got his and now you got yours. Hes coming a bit strict.

 

Hm actually nvm. Mat made a post saying he has to manually readd you but usually when I've been banned I get banned really close and Mats never been in the office. *shrugs*

Update of the top 15

 

1. Allar (previously Skiller - Aasiwat) : 2,63B xp (+15M). Definitely back to his usual pace, Allar mostly trained smithing and slayer last week with the usual farming. He has also trained some summoning and prayer which is in line with what he told us concerning his objectives some time ago. He still has a couple weeks assured at the top but the competition will be there in a short while. Coming milestones: 100M summoning

2. Jdelacroix : 2,50Bxp (+13M). He became the 2nd player to achieve 2,5B xp earlier today. Still mostly training thieving, dungeon, slayer and farming, he also spent some time training smithing last week. He should lose a rank to Telmomarques shortly if they both keep their respective pace. Coming milestones : 200M thieving and 200M dungeon (8th and 9th skill)

3. Telmomarques : 2,49B xp (+20M). Still hunting in HH and farming on the side, Telmo is closing in on 2,5B xp and rank 2. Expect him to climb a couple ranks in the milestones chart for skills over 50M that I'll post later. Coming milestones : 2,5B xp and 100M ranged

4. Drumgun : 2,45B xp (+5M). Not much new from Drumgun last week as he's still fishing and has put his fletching and WC training on hold. Expect Elvis to pass him in the coming weeks. Coming milestones : 200M WC and 200M fletch (10th and 11th skill)

5. Elvis : 2,41B xp (+19M). An interesting week for Elvis who dumped a couple of effigies, trained crafting to 200M for his 6th skill, reached 2,4B xp, moved to herblore and kept slaying. Note that he has all effigies skills open, which gives him a nice advantage over the competition. Coming milestones : 100M farming

6. Elias : 2,37B xp (+49M). Mainly training construction and herblore, Elias is quickly becoming the contender # 1 according to this writer. Elias passed Zarfot last week to reach rank 6, reached 100M construction for his 7th skill over 100M and he's still going very strong with herblore at the moment. Coming milestones : 100M attack and 100M herblore

7. Zarfot 2,35B xp. Inactive

8. Tezz : 2,25B xp (+36M). Once again in the leading pack, Tezz is still training dungeon, fletching and FM in which he reached 100M for his 10th skill over 100M. Expect him to challenge for rank 1 in the coming months. Coming milestones : 100M ranged and 200M dungeon (8th skill).

9. SU O M I : 2,22B xp (+30M). Still slaying full time, Suomi has reached 100M str last week for his 9th skill over 100M as well as 2,2B xp. Definitely one the favorite on this thread due to his training style, he's gaining collateral XP in buyables from effigies lately, which is a good thing for him considering some people think he will have a hard time with the buyables. Coming milestones : 100M WC

10. Paperbag : 2,09B xp (+3M). Still mainly farming and training dungeoneering, Paperbag is currently between his latest 200M skill and his next step. Coming milestones : 2,1B xp

11. Gertjaars : 2,02B xp. Inactive.

12. Kingduffy : 1,96B xp (+5M). Once again training a great variety of skills, the King has been focusing mostly on hunter last week. He should pass Gert in the first weeks of summer. Coming milestones : 100M WC

13. Lan : 1,87B xp. Inactive

14. Green098 : 1,87B xp (+7M). About to pass inactive Lan for rank 13, Green is currently training magic, smithing, slayer and ranged. She will have some competition from Skiller 703 in the coming weeks. Coming milestones : 200M ranged (6th skill)

15. Erw J : 1,85 xp. Inactive.

 

Skiller 703 missed the cut by about 800K xp this week and should enter the top 15 sunday.

I'm pretty sure the 100M and 200M is accurate as of today. The 50M xp is harder to track since I would need to look up every player over 700M xp to be 100% sure. Any corrections will be noted and adjusted in the future, if possible, drop me a PM.

Mod Mark: Were gathering data now to help with that change in the future. However its slow progress. The changes in this update will certainly increase the average speed of a solo dungeon and the majority of changes to boss monsters in this update were designed with the solo user in mind.
