Youmu
From today's Q&A, Content Part 2: Q: When you released the new "1000 total level" worlds, I'm sure many people were pleased; however, you would think the purpose of these worlds was to get skilled players a world without noobs. Well, I think at least 90% of all the people on the F2P world are ex-members (all the skilled "non-ex-members" are on many different worlds, but there are always large quantities on world 61). The member worlds are almost the opposite of the F2P ones. It is not hard to achieve a total level of 1000 if you are a member. Would you please change the limits of the "1000 total level" worlds? A: After all the feedback weve received, we are changing them to 1500+ worlds. http://[Use Quick Find Code]/l=0/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?13,14,763,60415349 Is anyone else upset by this? Looks like now only the most elite F2Pers will be able to use the skill world(s) after the new skill is released. Sonic, what are your thoughts on this? :???:Err... I really don't know what to say about this... Looks like I need to train a whole lot more... not before I create a rant about this. Luckily, they haven't changed it just yet... LordAdib
By the way prayer is really fast exp ;) The only skill that is tedious imo is RC.Prayer is just expensive. And after the new skill comes out I'd gladly accept 1.5k total worlds. Agreed with the first part, but I think you'd only be fine with it because you're closer to that req than most F2Pers on this thread. :P I enjoyed the 1k total worlds, they should keep those. But make 1.3k total or 1.4k total worlds for F2Pers. It's not going to be one or the other though. ~I Am A Bahai~.:100% F2P for life:.

Youmu
I posted my rant yesterday, and got a lot of negative comments, mostly from P2Pers. Don't you guys just hate P2P who loves to troll on F2P? You know, the ones that go "dont moan, pay ur 5$". Those guys are the ones that irritate me the most. zhong881209
it is true that we didnt pay the money to support their server, but it was us who been advertising runescape and keep the market price intact.majority of the player is f2p, although we didnt pay, but we should deserve at least update ratio f2p:p2p of 1:3 or 1:4the number of quest for f2p is far too low to begin with, i already done all quest ever since RS2 come out.i like the idea of f2p world only, but i doubt that jagex will implement it. however make it 1k and 1.5k world wont do much help as there will still p2p who enter it and spoil the fun. from my last post, there have quite some number of update related to f2p, so it is not bad.but the thing i mostly hope for is they balance the combat triangle, the recent update Staff of light is only for p2pfor p2p, it might been better off with saving runes, but for f2p, i think it would be better off with better spell and stronger bow and arrow, and some equipment.however, jagex already stated that wave spell, yew bow and rune arrow is not possible for the time being. Sonic, what are your thoughts on this? :???: Pretty sure the P2P 1k+ worlds will change to 1.5k+ worlds, and the f2p will stay at 1k+, or not allow members with under 1K+ f2p total or something. it is true that we didnt pay the money to support their server, but it was us who been advertising runescape and keep the market price intact.majority of the player is f2p, although we didnt pay, but we should deserve at least update ratio f2p:p2p of 1:3 or 1:4 I'm not trying to hate on f2p because I love f2p and F2P'ers dedication to staying f2p, but you can't measure advertising by word of mouth. There are a LOT of members, and lots of them promote it by word of mouth too. The revenue from ads isn't even that much
Youmu
Fail... <_< Also, has anyone noticed the increase of bots lately? I was at the mining guild for an hour and a half, and during this time, up to five bots were roaming around the area. They were even trying to mine rocks out of range (like the ones near the door). What's even more amazing is that they all try to mine each others' rocks! :o I guess that's what happens when you put so many bots together... BlogTrimmed | Master Quester | Final BossBoss pets: Bombi | Shrimpy | Ellie | Tz-Rek Jad | Karil the Bobbled | Mega Ducklings120s: Dungeoneering | Invention

Pinkbullet3
Just wanted to quickly say that I wasn't there when Jagex wiped out the first large batch of bots, so I'm not sure how they happened to pull that one off. But I was just wondering what makes these bots differ from the older ones? Surely if Jagex can take those ones out, they can do the same for these? I know that bots will never be completely wiped off the face of the earth. But when I came back to playing last year, I noticed that there were no more bots swarming the yew trees, so I thought Jagex did a pretty good job. ^ Blog. I know that bots will never be completely wiped off the face of the earth. But when I came back to playing last year, I noticed that there were no more bots swarming the yew trees, so I thought Jagex did a pretty good job. On one particular update, jagex changed the interface of the game. Then, all the bots that were "dumb" clickers clicked that area that had no button... It then flagged Jagex because no human player would ever click blank areas repeatedly, making the same mistake over and over...Anyhow, the only way to truly wipe runescape of bots is to make the game virtually unplayable. Or, Jagex could monitor the services running in the background of a user's computer. Its the entire botting programming base vs. Jagex in this.If you developed your own botting software, made it robust, and shared it with no one, it might be near impossible to detect. Its once it gets out to the general idiots that they get caught.... 99 dungeoneering achieved, thanks to everyone that celebrated with me! ♪♪ Don't interrupt me as I struggle to complete this thoughtHave some respect for someone more forgetful than yourself ♪♪♪♪ And I'm not doneAnd I won't be till my head falls off ♪♪
Youmu
I just wish botting was never invented in the first place... Oh, and also, reaching goals like all 60+ or 70+ seems easy, but it really isn't, as I've noticed lately. Prayer and Smithing are just so expensive for me that I couldn't even hit a 60+. About the others: Melee: Boring for me. Ranged: Same here. Fishing: Never really bothered with it, lol. Runecrafting: It's just slow, really. Crafting: It profits, but so pricy... Magic: Meh skill. Still, I'm not going to give up on those.
