New Skill Research - Roleplaying / Dungeon Master?

Exploration would be hella lame..And the worst thing is it would actually make sense for the new skill to be exploration.

Haha, yeah it kinda sounds lame. But I look to it as access to gamebreaking content that doesn't exist yet. Almost like a whole year's worth of updates! I think it would make up for 09 :))

The epic Jagex researcher can now claim he can see the future! Nice one Ren, your theory was the best one out there and it turned out to be the right one. Feel free to parade and gloat!!

Well it is actually more like dungeon exploring than mastering (roleplaying) but it's idd amazing

Yes, I agree it is less focussed on Roleplaying than I anticipated. My four premises and two assumptions all seem to have been correct, but Jagex's implementation wasn't how I'd imagined it because the "Dungeon Master" trademark made me think more of D&D and thus roleplaying.

Ill take my credit for saying the new area would be the staging area for the new skill also.....

Sure - credit where it's due ^_^.

I had visited this thread from time to time just for the fun of it. While I'm not big on how combat-oriented this new skill is, I am more impressed with how this information was just at our (or should I say YOUR ) fingertips. You truly did a spectacular job of compiling concrete research. Thats certainly no easy feat. Bravo Ren !

At request I moved this topic back where it is visible again and I unlocked it in the hopes further discussion can arise again.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be?~ Marianne Williamson

Didnt realised it was an old thrend, why unlock it. Btw he was truly a genius. Miss it completely.

Lovemaking is the next skill.

It was unlocked at the request so people could once again read it, and it seemed it has some discussion value in it once more so for that reason it is unlocked.
