People who don't stop at crosswalks when there are pedestrians and cops wasting time looking for speeders when they could make an easy 200$ fining people who don't stop. I have to cross about 4-5 crosswalks on my bike to get to school, so my only solution is to wait til the near side doesn't have cars and sit in the middle of the road. Generally people will stop so the other cars don't have to wait <_<

I always stop for pedestrians but some people just really need to walk faster. Also, people need to jog and ride their bikes on the sidewalk. You can easily move out of the way when you meet a person on the sidewalk, not so much when it's a damn car on the street.

Technically, bikes are supposed to ride on the street. That's what I learned in Driver's Ed.

I ride on the sidewalks unless the curbs don't have the little slope things. So residential districts basically, where there aren't many cars. The street's not a good place to ride tbh.

Speaking of which, I drove past a couple kids on their bikes pulling out onto the highway. I wanted to roll down my window and yell at them for being idiots. Especially since they came from the park which has the hike/bike trail - I knew this 'cuz one had a huge stick through his handlebars. *sigh*

My skin is finally getting soft
I'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

Ride on road = get hit and hated by all drivers. Unless you cycle fairly professionally (use the clothes, go fast, have a racing bike, do it often, etc.) then you should be on the sidewalk.

Which is actually illegal in many cities.

Basically it sucks to be a bike owner.

While I think this is a joke, it's the general consensus among drivers. You have to use the sidewalk unless you can go fast enough (which requires cycling often, using a racing bike, putting effort, etc.)

I had to write an essay with one of my friends. I pretty much wrote the whole thing because he wasn't helping much.... I emailed it to him later that day, and told him to make any additions if he wants. When I read the paragraph he wrote, he used the number '2' in place of 'to'. I facepalmed.

Glee.

If your referring to the show:

Worse than the actual show are the fans. They're obsessive. They play the music EVERYWHERE THEY GO. And, many of the Glee fans I know go into a bit of shock when drinking or sex is mentioned on an episode.

You're right. I know this girl that loves that show and thinks the music on there is the best thing that ever happened to those songs.

Oh my god. I watched an episode. It wasn't anything except a cover song and high school drama crap. Usually I give shows 3 episodes before I drop it forever but I could already tell where Glee was going with just 1...

lighviolet1lk4.jpg

The first episode of Glee was good. It was something new, they didn't butcher a bunch of songs, and it wasn't too over the top for the type of show it was.

I'm less bothered by the show than I am by the fans. The show is over the top, but the people whose iPods are filled with volumes of Glee covers make me gag. I had to suffer through about an hour of a girl's Glee-filled iPod, I wanted to give up hearing forever.

I don't know about the US but in the UK you can be fined up to £500 for cycling on the pavement, unless part of the pavement has been specifically allocated for cyclists, so unless you're a child you should be cycling on the road, and while on the road you have the same rights as any other vehicle. I think the main reason cyclists get such a bad rap is because they sometimes feel as though they can switch between being road users and pedestrians, and sometimes act as though they don't have to follow the same rules as other road users i.e running red lights and turning without signalling. As a person who uses a bike as his main method of transportation, it always kind of irritates me to see cyclists on the pavement getting annoyed about pedestrians, but refusing to cycle on the road.

Another thing that really annoys me is when you're at a party and people keep changing the song without letting the current song finish, even if it's not a song I particularly enjoy

Ever been hit by a bike on a sidewalk? My friend did. Since bicyclists have no insurance, everything that the victim has to do is out of pocket or through civil litigation. If they don't have the money to begin with they're screwed in that sense.

They should just add in more bike lanes. There's no need for cars to drag on the curb so bike lanes will help on that.

And by the way it's illegal in Ontario to ride a bike on the sidewalk. (Citing Highway Traffic Act)

One of my friends just Liked a page that said "When I was your age we had Kenan and Kel, not Drake and Josh". They're completely ignoring the fact that Drake Bell and Josh Peck were both in The Amanda Show and the fact that they were only 6 years old when Kenan and Kel stopped airing...

Also people complaining about 6 hours of sleep. I get 6 hours of sleep daily and I'm fine.

Absolutely false. I love Glee, I watch every episode and if I can't see it I record it. I do not play the music everywhere I go, and I would be happier if there was more drinking or sex involved in an episode. More realistic.

I fixed it I think. I was just going off because of a certain obsessive sheltered Glee fan who I'm not a fan of.

Yeah. But seriously, I understand where you guys are coming from. Bikers that are in the way are pretty annoying. I try my best to give the car behind me as much space as possible.
