I'm pretty sure they really do, or at least the newer generations of them do. In any case, I'm pretty sure at least some of it is intentional to give them a reason to sue people, trying to bait people into attacking them so they can sue for damages or whatever. They spend a lot and they need cash. I'm pretty sure there is an abnormal amount of lawyers in Phelps' congregation, so...

My friend made a prank call to them and asked dumb questions about them and it ended up with them accusing him of being a pedophile rapist or something like that. It was a bunch of [cabbage].

I was in Church this morning (I'm Atheist but my parents still make me go) and these girls kept talking about how much they wanted to ban smoking in America and that No Smoking signs were a blessing from God.

 

I turned around and said, "How does someone else smoking affect you?"

 

They couldn't come up with a good answer.

Smoking should not be banned. It's harmful, no doubt, but as long as people are aware of the danger and can take steps to avoid it, then I say it's fine. Rather, ban smoking in public, and allow it only in designated areas.
