Yeah, making no progress on the calibration... Any tips?

If you're struggling with a puzzle. Here is a list of every possible solution (Just look up what intensity you need then follow the two coins needed for it).

[hide]Circle = 1

Almond = 2

Triangle = 3

Square = 4

Pentagon = 5

Hexagon = 6

Red = 1

Orange = 2

Yellow = 3

Green = 4

Blue = 5

Indigo = 6

Violet = 7

Possible Cyan combinations:

Blue Circle + Green Circle = 9

Blue Almond + Green Almond = 18

Blue Triangle + Green Triagle = 27

Blue Square + Green Square = 36

Blue Pentagon + Green Pentagon = 45

Blue Hexagon + Green Hexagon = 54

Red Square + Blue Square = 24

Red Pentagon + Blue Pentagon = 30

Red Hexagon + Blue Hexagon = 36

Red Triangle + Indigo Square = 27

Red Circle + Violet Almond = 15

Red Almond + Violet Square = 30

Possible Yellow Combinations:

Red Circle + Green Circle = 5

Red Almond + Green Almond = 10

Red Triangle + Green Triangle = 15

Lol...the quest seems good...just hope the reward isn't just the 2 spirit tree patches. Profanity filter should make for some interesting use, seeing as before nearly 1/2 the french/spanish dictionary would be blocked in english servers...lol.

um can someone help me with the calibration?

somehow the middle one is wrong but I can't spot the mistake

[hide]49448483.jpg[/hide]

It's bugged.

The tick seems to be bugged, judging by the positions you used INDIGO rather than BLUE

Thats the whole reason it references the colour wheel in the book.

Blue and red frame magenta on the wheel so they mix to make magenta.

Just in the light spectrum indigo slips in between blue n magenta

Other than the fact that you're wrong, nice try.

I'm not wrong. Check all the pics ppl posted of them clearing the puzzle magenta requires red and blue to be the "correct colour" despite the interface giving it a tick when u use indigo.

And as you cans ee on the circle he clearly used an indigo piece.

I have the exact same problem with the exact same colour/intensity. :( Couldn't get the intensity right with blue+red, it's always too high or too low.

By my math red oval = 2 which leaves u needed 25. Blue is 5*number of sides so blue pentagon = 25

And that makes a loverly shade of magenta doesn't it :)

Yeah now the intensity is right but the colour is vivid indigo. :S What am I doing wrong?

Blue + red should give the magenta. It does for everyone else see:

puzzlea.png

Guess tht 1 combo must be truely bugged out then.

Unless you put in more than 1 red oval, I think tht shuld sway colour but no intensity (not my pic) but it seems you can stack multiples of same type into 1 slot (notice they got 3 green ovals inserted)

nah you will need the same intensity to give pure magenta, 2 red and 5 blue will give a blueish colour instead, so 27 isn't possible with red and blue. Anyway its fixed now, fix for helping :)

Oh phew, I have all of the requirements. Weirdly enough, I got 61 Runecrafting yesterday for a completely unrelated reason. It's also my first quest I need to do to retrieve a quest cape! icon_mrgreen.gif

Also, optional filter = awesome. I really hope that we won't get too much unnecessary swearing in the long run, since I refuse to believe the stereotypes.

You can now chant your crystal seeds at iletya after completing quest :thumbup:

I pressume you mean Ilfeen stays in lleyta and does bow/shield?

Or do you mean the saw/chimes?

@will: stereotypes? Bah, those are never correct. Now, get me a jug of maple syrup, a hockey stick, and an electric beaver eh.

I thought that I'd like the glider right by the fruit tree patch, but I can't see that it helps out all that much. There aren't really any other gliders that are in a convenient location to use to get there.

Really?

Prior to this best fruit tree run route involved grand tree > khazard battlefield or grand tree > yanille via tele (iirc) then run to that patch.

Now you can go grand tree > gnome village easy via glider.

I thought Mobilising Armies > Village via tree > Follow out of maze was fastest for that patch

I'm not sure. Disregarding the MA bit, as thats basic getting into tree network fast.

II think tree to khazard n run and tree to village n guide maze are about equal.

But assuming you set up the tree run route to do Stronghold or another patch near glider its bound to be epic speed to glider in.

Most obvious being being at gnome stronghold for the two patches or quick run up from cathurby.

"Note that, as you have made a concious choice to turn off your profanity filter, you should not report other players simply for using the odd bit of bad language"

Good. Some ass players just love to report for misspelled censored words. Safe!

Nice profanity filter chat update. :thumbup:

I turned my profanity filter off, because I am an adult, not kid who feel offensive over a game. *Wait for nubs to swear at me for the lulz*

now we can say stuff on rs we cant say on tipit, [bleep] yeah

We can't toggle the censor on our forums so it stays on ;)

Also, at least at the moment, there's no change to our rules on censorship so if you post an image with words that we censor, we'll remove it and deal with it.

That was a lot of xp for a short quest :blink: I didn't think the quest was anything special, most of it was just dialogue with the exception of the coin puzzle. Disappointed we didn't really see Arposandra either but I guess we'll get that in the following quest.
