Hey,

I would like to try some more professional dungeoneering, is there a chance for me to join sweepers and get myself up to maybe chaotics?

The lvl 42 I made so far was all solo, I know teams are alot faster but I couldnt find a good clan so far.

I have been on tip.it for many years, just never made a forum account.

Thanks in advance.

It's extremely difficult to find teams at low dungeoneering levels, unfortunately. You're best off soloing to floor 30 and then seeking out abandoned floors in DGS. When you hit occults it's much easier, and f45 is when you really start being able to be in the pro floors.

Well let me try that then up to lvl 59, I just heard exp in groups is alot better. You maybe got a link for a good solo guide to dungeoneering?

Honestly... I think you should use W117. You can at least learn some basics first which can allow for an easier transition into DGS. If not, you'll be entering DGS with little knowledge of how to work as a team, which may in turn annoy some keyers. Basic stuff such as calls, gating and stuff. That's just my opinion though.

If you were also able to use tears of Guthix and penguin points, it shouldn't take more than a few weeks to get up to level 60ish.

To be able to use tears to level 60 you of course need to get all your other stats 60+, but that can't hurt :P.

It's been on the to-do list for a while, but the tokens always found their ways into other things. (First it was chaotic crossbow, then it was rigour for nex teams, etc.)

But yes...58k tokens for t-9, and i'm at 5k atm, since I just purchased rigour (or null, according to the a-log). and I wouldn't mind upgrading it when I got the chance.

EDIT: what's the standard policy for third-binds anyway? The front-post wasn't particularly clear. I still have a platebody since I occasionally keyed for W148 (although I don't believe i'm quite up to the ability-level of the clan's keyers yet), is there a typical third-bind besides that that's generally used?

That won't be a good idea, I hear several people making dungeoneering up to 60 in less then 2 days. Will try and find some people who want to join me in it.

My lvl 138 combat blog!

Plate is good to have for keying, but if you DPS you might want to pick one of the following:

- Blood Neck

- CCS

- Rapier

I swear this was a drop.

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

Don't fire me.

Also, I just realised that the Total XP thing on the clan ranking page means the total XP gained while being a clan member. Derp.

We're standing 9th place overall though, if anyone cares.

EDIT : 10th as I typed this out L.

Just a note to all trying to access the clan chat: The "Dg sweepers" friend chat is closed, and the new "Dgs" Clan chat is the one we will be using for now on. I'll get jimi to change the first post to clarify this.

Prom mauls aer allowed if your attack level is low enough

In your case, it is not :P so yes prom 2h is mandatory for you.

Prom 2h is by far superior to just about everything (except its primal counterpart, and Primal baxe is acceptable as well). Dung Smith chat (dunno if they've made it a clan or anything) will gladly make one for you, and there are definitely some 99 smithers in DGS that could make you a prom 2h as well. Either way, be patient when asking people to make something for you in Dungeoneering, because they're taking their time to help you :P

Where do I go for the Dg Sweepers cc now?

azeem1992.png

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

primal baxe is generally not acceptable.

We consider it a pro's tool.

It is expected that everybody use a prom 2H unless we think you understand what it takes to put a primal baxe to good use.

IE near constant turmoil flashing, and understanding of what monsters are weaker to the primal baxe, relative to other weapons.
