Can one of the DGS admins/leaders tell me if I'm blacklisted for the little quarrel in Questionnaires from a few weeks/months ago? I'm not here for an argument, but just genuinely wondering...

No. I've only blacklisted one person because of something they said on TIF, and only because they basically informed me that they would have no part in following any instructions we give, nor would they attempt to learn anything because they just wanted to get their next chaotic and leave. If they hadn't expressed interest in using DGS in the same breath, I wouldn't have made the effort to blacklist them, but there's no way I'd give them a chance to cause any grief or stress for any of our keyers.

Anyway, no - you're not blacklisted.

Hi Dgsers,

As you may have noticed recently there have been a few people kicked from the clan chat. Due to the whole being ranked #5 or whatever on the clan hiscores for dungeoneering, we are getting an influx of people who join the clan chat without looking at the guidelines or even being registered to tipit. The ranks in the chat have 0 tolerance for the general population of runescape getting into the chat, so we are being a lot more quick to kick/ban. This will not affect the regular tipiters of the chat in any way as we are here to teach and help grow tipiters into better dgers, not to get the general population of runescape their chaotics/ frost dragons (as we have stated before the cc update).

If you were wrongly kicked by a leader and want to appeal a ban you may do so by pming OBIT, michael, or I on tipit or runescape.

We aren't going to kick people for being in the clan chat. When they cause upset in dungeons or pm a leader saying "i saw u on rs hiscores can i b a rank in ur cc plz?" is when we will kick them. If a tipiter happens to get kicked from the chat it will have been with good reason. The leaders are all in the clan chat daily so we know the regulars and who is from tip.it or not. Basically as a rule of thumb; people who find out about the clan via the rs website are not good dungeoneer-ers and are only there for their own interests. We do not need people like that in the cc.

If you have any more concerns, ask me.

so you stole all food!

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Meh csb, I'll go all out p2h dps :D.

Anyway I thought it might be nice to be clear on what to do when someone pms you about joining DGS. What I do is pretty simple:

- Ask what their binds are

- Ask if they found us through the RSOF

- Ask if they read the guidelines

- Tell them they are going to be tested if they are from the RSOF

- Tell them to join as a guest first

- Remind them to listen to the keyer

- Wish them luck

Even RSOFers deserve a chance, even if the expectations are low.

If you got celestial + surgebox, hood, and high rc levels (fast fire rune crafting) + pro fletching & woodcutting skills etc. AND a lot of experience with all that AND you can do other skill tasks (snaping, making altar etc.) which would ever so slightly reduce the importance of your primary dps, THEN you can be a good mage. But yeah.

I think i'm going to make a guide on how to dg with a hexhunter now.

Matt

Jimi

Chee

Mike

Final

Nik

Rocked

SEVEN hexhunters out of about 100 members. wow.

I wasn't going to as there are only a few of us, but I suppose its only natural for the amount of hexes to increase as time goes on so it will be useful to have.
