In some ways, it does not seem like its been 10 years. Hell its been over 10 years now since Falador came out. A completely random memory for you: Do you remember when J from IRC was quitting and giving away stuff via a game of hide and seek in game? I recall me, you, sir_lance and a few others were playing. I think I got like 1500 bolts and a crossbow, among maybe a few other small things. Edit: I was getting LJ13 and Lit13 mixed. It was Lit13 who ran RuneScape 2001. The majority of my account's stats were gained during classic; once RS2 came out I've only briefly logged in to try out the new Runecrafting and Dungeoneering skills. Though I fondly remember waking up on Dec. 1st to see that the beta of RS2 was out. It was just amazing going from classic to RS2, (or so I thought at first.) I remember the party room duping, the walking out of windmills on the second floor.. good times. Though it never came close to the tight-nit community we had back in classic. My player level doesn't really reflect how long I've been playing though as I tend to dip in and out of the game and maybe go crazy on it for a few weeks and then don't play again for a couple of months.... regardless I still stump up for P2P lol. I remember there was a section gated off by one of the banks and through it were loads of houses. When you clicked on it it said "Player houses coming soon." I remember me and my friend being convinced we'd be able to share a house and so saving up our gold ready to buy one. :oops: In reality player houses didn't come out until a good few years later. :grin: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
