July 19, 201114 yr It would stop a lot of the botting at first, but then they'll eventually find a way around it. If they can code sophisticated bots, then they can code a Java client that can go through a proxy. Not only that, but many of the bots being used are used on people's main accounts. So they aren't just your regular level 3 bald guy at your local yew tree.

Though you can't blame them, only reason they're around is for money. And it really would be pretty easy for people to get around the proxy anyways. July 19, 201114 yr Bots know more as avarage about computers and such, bots start using proxys, normal players don't understand what's happening, normal players barely play RS any more, bots just continue to play RS. Yea, that sounds like a great idea! Nevertheless, there are no Chinese worlds ;).
