06-Dec-2011 Loyalty Programme - Batch 3

Do all auras that have multiple tiers require you to buy the lowest first in order or just the newest ones?

Lol@Chrome... I was going to give it a chance but then saw that you have to click back in RS window when you change tabs. Not using it purely for that reason (and bookmarks didn't transfer on top of that).

Wish I could buy something but I only have 2k pts on account of not thinking they would release more stuff so soon and buying Disappear... -.-

I'll achieve my goals, even if I have to crawl towards them.

Always accepting donations of living minerals, fishing urns, granite crab pouches, etc.

None of the auras seem worth breaching my stock of 32k points for... at the end of the month that will be 48k pts. At the current rate (assuming you kept all your points save the first 500) you could get Aegis by the end of March, end of April if points/month caps at 12k.

These are pretty much my thoughts as well. The only other aura I would consider buying is the dark magic one.

Also I hate the loyalty programme. I can't stand having so many things that I can't buy. And honestly, I think a lot of stuff is overpriced. Any of the skiller areas - Tier 3, you pay 69k points for a 7% bonus that's not even permanent? Seriously?

Even the new recolours and clothes are 4k points each....

Indeed, especially if the cap on points is 10-15k/month. Upgrading to a tier 3 aura can cost as much as Aegis and will take quite a long time to get if you bought other items beforehand (Which is, obviously, the intent). They're even getting to the point where they're more than just a slight bonus to whatever you're doing.

Between the tool belt and the 30 extra bank spaces, I gained 50 bank slots today. And I almost have the entire belt full now. Mega win. I wan't the Archon title, but its very expensive (for a title).

Hey, does anyone know if you keep the T1 version when you buy a T2 of an aura? Like say I had salvation T1 and bought salvation T2, could I use both seperately? Or does T2 replace the T1?

I had T1 salvation and when i bought T2, it was unequipped and replaced by my T2 salvation.

I'd never heard of it before today. Was actually quite puzzled about its price...

In case, in case it hasn't been said already, they didn't ruin the pancho.

It's still got 150 slash defense which is 10 more than torva.

I'm glad they decided to release the goggles to non-members as well.

I've never tried Chrome, but now's as good a time as any.

THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

This update has pretty much negated the use of some of the novelty skilling items in the game:

Barb-Tail Harpoon

Golden Hammer

Beaver

Pyrelord

Wieldable fish nets (can still be used for cosmetics).

Dwarven Army Axe (though DAA acts as steel rather than bronze)

Dwarven Army Axe lets you craft brooches!

Yeah, they should really make it F2P.

Wait, did anyone actually use beavers for fletching?
