April 17, 201313 yr Perhaps the reasoning of the NDA is that the difference between this beta and the EoC beta is that users will be playing the same live game but in an advanced version. I feel that they have kept this beta very secretive in comparison to the Evolution of Combat hype. They've barely released any gameplay footage other than seconds of moving image and a few screenshots. With an update that enhances the visual aspects of the game you would expect them to showcase more up to the release. Maybe there is more to it and something they are not telling us! Also didn't they state that the new Interface will not be tested today but on the 25th?

April 17, 201313 yr Servers are up, though takes a while to load. Too laggy to really do much, but I took an exploratory walk. Try teleporting somewhere and running faster than the buildings load. Guess I won't say anything more.

April 17, 201313 yr I'm in. Although I'm getting 5 fps. I have to say Polypore dungeon looks amazing.If I turn off shadows and set draw distance to low I get 28 fps... Once areas with not that many structures has finished loading. I get stable 20+ fps with everything on high. Like the last area in tww. And lastly, there's no music </3
April 17, 201313 yr Boy it took about twenty minutes for me to go from excited to not giving a crap. Get in after a half hour of trying and the game has clearly loaded the Java version.

April 17, 201313 yr Never received an email but can access the beta. Nice.Be sure to check your spam folder. That's where mine was. Ok so on the NDA thing. Although I'm not giving any images. I have to say. You have to go to a spot that's elevated. Like Karamja Volcano, White wolves mountain or the Ancient pyramid and just look at the glory with everything set to highest.The water, the bloom, the draw distance just makes everything beautiful.When areas are loading I get around 8fps if it's not a busy place.In towns like edgevile I get 3-5 fps standing in bank.In places with medium activity and everything loaded I get 11 fps standing still. Like Karamja VolcanoAnd in empty places I get 20-30 fps.
April 17, 201313 yr I know they asked you all to not show the interfaces, but I'm just SO curious about how the default settings look in comparison to now. EDIT: Sniped by Fallstar. Looks like the defaults are the same as they are now. Do the reflections off the water move naturally? Because the picture just looks a little silly with the random white patches on the water.
