April 17, 201313 yr Author During the last 10 minutes the counter of players online have dropped steadily. I can't log in to the BETA or the website. Once I did, directly after the update, I got kicked immediatelly pretty much. This seems to be working great :P EDIT: Was at 50k+ when I first checked, now it 37k... EDIT2: Login system works again, back up to 45k now ^^ EDIT3: Player owned ports doesn't work in BETA for anyone who is curious :( Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

Looks like the defaults are the same as they are now. Do the reflections off the water move naturally? April 17, 201313 yr I have a theory that inventory images aren't sprites anymore, but actually 3D models. If you go into the bank and select the all-tabs view items like the Fire cape are actually animated. Also explains the FPS destroying that happens in bank. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

April 17, 201313 yr It feels like first time play is going to be a much more painful experience if they don't get this optimised loooaaaaaads. I think they ought to of trapped us at an initial loading screen whilst the assets for the 'start' of the game were loaded (eg burthorpe, taverly, and various basic models like trees and low-end playerkit) then once in-game it should be forced to load the rest of whats needed where you are but also have a background load going on to load in all of the assets. Granted it'd still be a bit slow like now and launch where EVERYONE gotta load it, but it ought to smooth out things longterm.
