  1. Level 99 stats may have lost the grandeur that had in the early days, but they're still awesome achievements. So congratulations. :D
  2. I'm considering training prayer by use of altars the next time I become a member. Does anyone know how long does a marentill burn before I need to refill a burner? Thanks.
  3. It worked earlier but no longer does so I uninstalled it.
  4. Does anyone know any good merchanting media for someone with 32m on F2P? What I'm currently doing is buying Santa hats for 20m or less and sell for 20.3m+, but it's taking a lot of time to find traders. Anyone know any better alternatives? I've seen many merchanting guides, but the street prices are often out of date. Advice is appreciated.
  5. LOL, I did a search for "RuneScape" and I'm the only person on my university's network to list it in my interests. :P
  6. Congrats! And it's pretty cool how you're friends with Green098! :)
  7. Yep that's right. Some p ornography was accidentally played on the Disney Channel, due to some error at Comcast. The news is about three weeks old though. link 1 - link 2
  8. Are you Asian by any chance? :P
  9. "If you ever get an item called a 'party hat', don't sell them for 1k each!"
  10. Just sneak on. :P Also once you're 18 your parents can no longer legally ground you.
  11. The lowest 99 HPer that I personally know of is Fallyn Heart. She was level 109 the last time I saw her.
  12. MS Paint has a "transparent" option for text.
  13. Farming: Genie at Disney World: (This image was a better one, but the author didn't want it used by anyone else. :()
  14. According to his YouTube comments, he chose it randomly. Although, from the looks of it, he's a fan of Yogi Bear. :P
  15. Let me guess, you got the idea from my thread? :) http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=649844
  16. 1. Closing RS Classic to new users 2. Fatigue (good thing Jagex removed it in RS2) 3. Pure/regular essence: Jagex tried to devalue essence but failed miserably 4. May 2001 skill menu - we used to have two magic and prayer skills. If you had 60 good magic and 55 evil magic, you'd get 60 magic, and the runes you spent on 55 evil magic was wasted, as Jagex simply discraded the EXP rather than add it to your higher skill. The same happened with prayer. 5. 2002 fletching - Woodcutting used to give very fast EXP, but Jagex changed it so that normal logs only gave 25 EXP. It was somewhat compensated with the 1-click woodcutting. Free users were given up to yews in RS2, but woodcutting was still slower than it was back then. 6. Due to abuse and resource issues, Jagex removed forums, links, and server status on November 14, 2001. Andrew also changed the chat filter so it only allows a limited dictionary, much like Disney's Virtual Magic Kingdom. Fortunately, the chat filter update was removed the next day.
  17. A long time ago, I was addicted to the computer game Final Doom. The game's official site was http://teamtnt.com/ixfd.htm, and for some odd reason, I thought that the letters "ixfd" sounded cool. The game had 64 levels, and I thought that 64 was an interesting number, so that's how I chose "ixfd64" as my username. I guess that Nintendo 64 started the trend.
  18. Hmm, skills will probably go up to level 150. Drop parties will be as big as today's Times Square New Year parties, LOL.
  19. I'm not a member anymore; can anyone tell me what exactly the change was? From what I've heard, you clicked as fast as possible. I'm guessing that the spell now takes some time to cast? (I remember a similar "bug" back in RS Classic. You used to be able to cast attack spells as fast as you click, but people used bots to cast, so Jagex changed it so that players cna only cast one spell each second.)
  20. I'm not a member anymore, but I checked the manual, and the only new spell is the Lunar Home Port? I see nothing about planking spells.
  21. I do find it a bit unfair that members can just "cheat" their way to the top by paying $5 a month. This contradicts Jagex's own rule 12, "We feel your status in real-life shouldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t affect your ability to be successful in the game." An interesting idea for a fan project would be to make an external hiscore system with script that strips members stats from hiscores. This, however, would break the current version of rule 7. :( Another interesting idea would be to sort by total EXP. I don't know why Jagex haven't thought of this yet.
  22. Best F2P update of all time: Addition of EXP indicators (Aug. 13, 2001) Best F2P update since members (not including holiday events): Lumbridge home port

  24. I just got an update that a fifth Wikipedia admin got "hacked". Also, brute forcing is harder on RuneScape because: 1.) it takes a while for the login attempt to go through the Internet connection, and 2.) RuneScape blocks excessive failed login attempts. However, from what I've heard people do brute-force. Instead of the "normal" brute force (trying different passwords on a single account), they do "reverse" brute-forces. They'll use one common password and try different accounts that might use the password. I thinkt his is what may have happened with the Wikipedia admins. Again, as long as you use a hard-to-guess password, you shouldn't have this problem.
