Taverly with cannon is faster. I would do that. (Meleeing them one at a time while cannon shoots the one you attack). I think a while back someone came up with a method where another player would block demons for you so your cannon would constantly shoot multiple demons at a time, but this isn't practical. Not worth dds specing imo. Claws barely even speed up your experience as it is. Yes, use regular prayer potions. You want to use the fastest method/inventory possible where you still finish in one trip. Chaos tunnel used to drop more charms, but I believe this has been balanced out for monsters in other locations too. Black demons for example, now drop the same amount of charms inside and outside of the chaos tunnels. I believe Kuradal's dungeon is best for metal dragons. Pretty sure resource is single combat.

Sounds good. Remember, your goal is to open every door and then kill the boss as fast as possible. For solo, it's probably worth skipping any skill doors that you have to farm a herb to make a potion for. But, if you've already picked up a herb then it only takes 15 seconds to make a pot.

You can do it with any weapon, you just need to skip a round every 2-4 (depends on speed of weapon) attacks so that you don't get meleed. I'm not convinced this is a legitimate argument in favour of the maul.

They said 1m a long time ago, but then they banned a lot of bots which dropped subs a bit... Then there was the free trade and pvp updates which dropped subs again... But then I'm sure they were going back up steadily, and another boost when they brought trade/wilderness back. Probably a bit over 1m now.

? You're maxed stats with overloads. Nomad took me a few minutes and like 5 brews. Shouldn't have any problem.

Actually, before there were two rare drop tables. The first one was the simple one, dropped by most creatures containing: Gems, Half Keys, Rune Javelins (5), Dragon Spear, Shield left Half. Then there was a second one, mainly on higher level monsters but not exclusively. This one I can never remember all the drops on but it was things such as: Dragonstone, 45 death runes, 56 Natures, 150 steel arrows, 100 silver ore, Rune Kite, Rune Spear, Rune Square, 45 Law runes, Dragon Med and probably some other things I've forgotten about. Now I'm not sure if the 2nd set of drops were actually a separate table like the first or just a bunch of drops grouped together and put on certain monsters. Greater Demons for example only drop the first set of items whereas Abyssal Demons drop both sets. I'm not entirely sure where the new drops fit into this either (not played enough since the update) but I believe it's the first set of drops where the new drops are and not the second set. Right, thanks. Haven't killed anything since the new update, and have't really killed anything low level for a long time. Got those drops that many higher level monsters seem to have mixed up with rare drop table. Yes, I assume the new rare drop items fall in the first category.

Old: Most monsters had the rare drop table (even some low level ones), consisting of gems, d meds, d spears, shield halves, key halves, yew logs, steel arrows, 3k coins, nature runes, dragonstone, etc. Now: Ring of wealth update brought a bunch of new additions to the rare drop table (which become more common with the ring of wealth), including the items you mentioned in your original post.

It's deliberately confusing. Really should be another pair or brackets indicating whether the (9+3) is on the top or the bottom of the equation. However, yes, when it's written out like this going left to right is the correct approach.

Someone already posted a link... but long story short, betting like that does not work. You have a very good chance of profiting, yes, but eventually one of those times you will simply keep losing until you can no longer afford to double your stake, and get epically cleaned.

Last day of classes for my second year of university :thumbup: Time to start studying for exams... :thumbdown: Stressful for me - I want to keep my marks up so I can keep the option of going to grad school open. However, I got my marks back for a big presentation in one class and our group did really well. Unfortunately the accompanying report wasn't finished being marked yet, so I don't get that back until Monday. And, following the apparent trend, my girlfriend came over for a "break from studying"

I'd like to get the spells... but I can't see myself every playing this minigame for long enough to get them. Very tedious, and once you figure out what's happening (about 5 mins after starting), it is just the same thing repeated over and over... Spells would have to be way better for me to want to get them.
