  1. I've started work on this again. Updated to include a bit more of the prologue (almost done with that :P)
  2. I honestly didn't like act 3 as much as 1 or two, and it definitely could've been a bit longer (I WANT MOAR :( ) but act three (and the entire thing) was very, very awesome.
  3. Mah new(er) laptop: [hide=Ubuntu + Awesome = Awesome][/hide]
  4. I randomly write down ideas/beginnings of stories when they pop into my head, so I already have about 600 words written down somewhere that I was going to work with. Would that be enough to conflict with your rule?
  5. Rewatch act two when Horrible is making his blog after his freeze ray thing failed: "Captain hammer...threw a car at my head"
  6. A short version of NaNoWriMo, but with monies. I like it :P
  7. I thought so too. It was defenitly more entertaining than I thought it would be. Cant wait for Act 3. I will agree as well. It's still stuck in my head
  8. That was just awesome. I like Act 2 better than the first, but they were both amazing. This would definitely be something I'd watch on TV.
  9. Better pic than TO's:
  10. Try force reloading the page by hitting control and f5. If that doesn't work, try clearing your cache. IE: Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Under browsing history -> Delete -> Under temporary internet files -> Delete Firefox: Tools -> Clear Private Data -> Uncheck everything except for cache, and tell it to run

    dream job

At the moment I'm tied between a few. Physicist, Aerospace engineer, Biochemist and Lawyer, and at the moment I'm leaning towards physicist or aerospace engineer.
  12. Yeah, Octobor's were a lot worse than these, in terms of how smokey the air was, and I'm all the way down at the beach.. EDIT: Huh, they're nowhere near me. I've been out of town for the past two weeks so I was just thinking I had missed them, lulz
  13. The way I've done it in the past (current phone is a motorola RAZR) is to upload the song to a webserver, and point your phone's browser at that server, and on mine it automatically downloads it. Might be different on you phone, but it can't hurt to try. (If you need a place to upload it (temporarily of course) then toss me a PM and I'll see what I can do)
  14. What, nourishing a child is nasty if it doesn't look good? -.-
  15. What're you going on about? I just played through the original half-life (c. 1999) on vista 64-bit, and it runs fine. Sure, they're not designed for a 64-bit OS, but they still run fine; Vista has a separate program folder for x86 programs. (which most programs, as well as games are. Firefox is running in 32-bit right now; I'm using it just fine) Edit: Blade and Nadril got it before me, I think I was impatiend and clicked the reply button before the entire topic had finished loading :|

    4Chan

Where'd you get that?! It was from a south park episode... Underpants gnomes are my favorite.
  17. It wouldn't have been the result of the cookies. Cookies are just little pieces of data containing a line or two of info, info that, once set, can only be retrieved by the domain that set them. It is impossible for a cookie to do anything malicious to your computer/email, unless you consider saving login sessions malicious.. :wall:
  18. Hancock - It was pretty funny, a lot of good laughs at the beginning, but the seriousness of the end killed all of the humor. Unrelated, but I saw a trailer for The Blindness the storyline doesn't look all that good, but the cinematography was amazing. (The trailer I saw was a different one than the one on their site :/)
  19. Replace the game cube with an xbox and that's my life. [cabbage] dude, even the ages are the same
  20. If you do image captions again (which I wouldn't mind at all, they're a lot of fun) could I suggest setting it up similar to the way cracked.com does it and then allowing users to vote?
  21. I almost forgot to mention I have an inane fear of someone drilling into my head, like brain surgery or something, but without being put under. Eughh....*shudders*
  22. The solution would be to get a dedicated graphics card, yes. I understood just fine that you could already play Ultra-High, but you asked how to "enable" AA. It isn't some feature the manufacturers are hiding from you, your current video device just isn't powerful enough to handle it. There are recommendations listed in Nadril's topic, I would recommend buying the one appropriate for your system. And what I mean by other games is that you don't need to overkill. You're not going to want to go out at buy a pair of 8800 Ultras when you don't need them for what your doing. The difference between the three limits your options for cards. An AGP card won't fit/work in a PCI-E slot. You don't need to open up a case, there is a link to a program to tell you in nardil's post.
  23. You have an integrated graphics card on a desktop!???!?!?!?!! Dood...the thing must be a relic. Nadril's post here has excellant information on a video card. If all you're playing is runescape (no actual video games (actual in the sense that they're demanding..)) then there's not need to go with anything other than the appropriate card he's listed. :P
  24. They did. & is an entity, which is displayed as a regular ampersand. & denotes the beginning of such an entity, which is causing the screw up. It doesn't need to work in a regular URL, when the page is parsed, the ampersand will take the place of & and the links will work fine. On a side note, it's all good in google reader.
  25. You don't have a dedicated graphics card, it's not powerful enough to support anti aliasing :( Pretty much any decent video card would allow you to use AA, but since it looks like you're on a laptop, you're out of luck.
