08-Dec-09 Kuradals Dungeon
You certanly can be unlucky though. I did over 1100 kills before i got my ring. I've done couple of hundred after that as well, haven't got more of them. But after what I've heard of others, 1/250 isn't a bad astimate.

Ferocious Ring drop rate
Since each ring have 5 teleports, then you should be quite certain that it can be used regularly as teleports. However, I think the 1/100 chances are a bit off. I would rather say that it is perhaps 1/250 or so. Though I have heard about people getting several in a task, the opposite is also heard of. I have passed 900 kills without one. I also know of quite a lot of others, also struggling, well past 600-700 kills in her dungeon. But I guess that this will even out, given some time, and considering that 1/250, and even about 1/750 should be enough to keep them as teleportations, at least in the long run.

15 January 2008 - Summoning!
yeah, really feeling that that one is original :? that one is like the copy of the fishing cape, isn't it?
-
Summoning too hard to level?
this means, as they have said, that this won't be an easy skill to level, like thieving/fletching and those skills... but won't be as expensive as construction, and still not the slowest of skills... it seems all fine fore me, in other words :P

Westboro Baptist Church-"God Hates Fags"
But this is what annoys me the most about the medias relationship to religion.... if there's some bad news, say a gay that is killed for example... if the person that killed him was christian, then of cource it's said... but if there's a positive thing, then it's not mentioned at all... when the only thing people hear about religion is negative, then of cource... no wonder most people are negative against it... if i haven't read the koran (how is it written in english anyways?) I would be much more negative to muslims. But after i had read it, and therefore also learned more than about what i hear in the radio about jihad, mad rules and terrorists, i'm quite positive against muslims. I'm Christian, and believe that God is my savior and so on and so forth, and of cource, I get a little upset about the same thing: That the only times i hear about christianity in the news it's the same old story about some christian haters et cetera, that's done/said something weird. I would really like to hear more about hte positive axcepts, so that people doesn't just jump to a conclusion about how christianity/religion is. Not saying this because i think that the news should "evangalise" or anything like that... but it's just as with immigrants, we hear the negative, and people are therefore more negative against them. Anyways, more on this topic... they have really mis-understood a lot... The christian God doesn't hate sinners, (not going to argue if homosexiallity is a sin or not, as i haven't read enough in the bible to have my own conclusion) But anyways... God hates the sin, he can't stand it... If someone is killed, if someone lies or whatever sin it is, he get upset, furious and so on... but since sin is something that lies inside the human from the start of (thanks lucifer ^^ ) he still loves us, which is really one of the most basics things about christianity. as paul says (this might be a bit off, as i just have to translate in my head from norwegian right now) That all the good things he want to do, he does. And all the things he doesn't want to do, he does... He sins, but not because he is against god, but because the human body is full of sin. ' Ah well.. though i should get that off my chest =P there's months since last time i posted on a religion topic =P the moral of the post is pretty much... don't stereotype people out of the negative things you hear about it... research, and find out things yourself. + a little christian morality :P

Runescape is the biggest regret of my life.
well... these were the kind of things i realised that made me quit playing... i have played a little on a defence noob i have during the vacation (back in my home place, my friends is somewhere else, and i'm really, really bored), but except that, i haven't played since the summer... it's impressing how much you can do when you don't use the itme to play runescape instead.

Marijuana, Is It Actually Bad?
couldn't really bother to read the whole thread. But yes, it's not good for you, at all... Your brain actually get damaged (not much though) for every joint you smoke. And people that smoke it regulary, have been proved to have a harder time learning new things, at for example: school. Another thing is how dangerous it is compared to other drugs, like alcohol and tobacco is another side of it. While the negative sides of smoking a joint actually is low compared to how spirits affect you, then you shouldn't use this as an argument of why you should smoke it. Alcohol is bad for you, smoking joint/pot is as well.. The point is just that drinking alchol is in our culture from the bottom. In norway, people where drinking "mjÃÆÃâÃâød" a kind of beer (added with some poisonus mushrooms) so taking it away now, wouldn't really work. You talk about how there is many more deaths recorded to alcohol/tobacco.. but this can't really be used as an argument, if you look closer to it. How many people drink alcohol, and how many people smoke? Of cource you will have more recorded deaths to this, as there are more people in the US that use one or more of these drugs regulary, than those that don't. What i'm trying to say is though... That it is dangerous, and that it shouldn't be made legal even though some legal drugs, are potentially even worse.

Summoning F2P?
oh, i'm sorry to say, but summoning WILL be combat related, and it will make the new max combat level 138, just read the brand new development diary... ot again. i don't think the skill have to be f2p, but i do think it could be good if some parts of it was, seeing how it affects the combat level, and how that would mess up around with people leaving members, how their combat level then would be higher, although several of those levels doesn't help them at all in f2p. (alternatively, they could make two different cb levels for f2p and p2p, but really, that would make little sense, wouldn't it? )

20 December 2007 - Development Diary : Summoning & Postbag

Is Social security In USA as bad as "sicko" shows?
^ ^ just think, wouldn't the best be to have a little more expensive health care, which everyone can get the fruits of, instead of having a more "effective", and cheaper health care, but which the poorer people can't fully use, because they can't afford it ?

Is Social security In USA as bad as "sicko" shows?
Do the americans still think socialism=communism= devil? Well, i don't know about the stereotype American. But the majority of the politics seems to think along that way, if not that directly. It's common thinking among them that the most important in life is to be free to do whatever they want, to use their money just as they want. America does have small taxes compared to Norway, but the point is that we get it back, as an insurance, that doesn't depend much on how much you pay in. The Nordic countries does at the moment have the best working governments in the world, which reflexes into how good people live. Norway was in several years in a row now been claimed as winner for being the best land in the world to live in (second place this year, only beaten by Iceland) Well, back to your question. It's very important to remember how big the actual difference between Socialism and Communism is, the main part being how the economy is ruled. (for the most, we have enough freedom within this as well) -random fact, The norwegian communist politics, Red (which is for this change in the economy) uses to get about 5-10% of the votes =P

Is God real post your thoughts!
If god was all loving, then he would not wish for harm to be done to anything. Whether animal or plants. If you love something you care for them. If you care for them you would not wish for them to be hurt. And because he wishes sacrifice, he is not all loving. so again, god isn't all loving and all knowing etc. hmm, i do disagree a little here. God does NOT demand blood... lets take this part by part. Offerings of lambs/grain et cetera: This is about showing respect to God, in the old testament, there is the rule about giving one tenth of what you earn back to God, because you should remember who gave you all this in the first place, and which is why i still give 1/10 of what i have to God (although this isn't much, i'm no rich man) but the point about Jesus dying: Lets start with this, okay? God is holy, perfect, divine, whatever word you want to use for it, and therefore he can't meet sin. And that way, the price of sinning, is death. since you can't go to heaven after having sinned, and death is the opposite of everlasting life, right? (i do believe that whats described as hell in the bible, is actually nothing, after death, there is either everlasting life, or everlasting death Aka. nothing at all for ever, you can't see a dead thing have pain, right?) Thats why Jesus came, fully God, though fully human. He died, taking all our sins with himself, having died for them.(Seen/read Narnia? well, that's a re-writing of the same thing) And therefore sinners are cleaned, if they just want Jesus to actually take these sins for them. just my few words.

Is Social security In USA as bad as "sicko" shows?
well, living in Norway i don't know... but when Moore made the movie, he edited out the parts from Norway, because people in the US wouldn't believe how it could be so good in Norway; a socialistic country =P we got as good as free health-care ^^ (of course, we pay a bit more in taxes, but the only thing that comes out of that, is that the richer pays more, while the poorer less, which is a good thing) btw: did you know that only 10% of the US population live at the same standards as the average norwegian?? (yeah, I'm lucky as HELL to be born in the country i am)

Tip.it Times Presents: Fame
well written article! And really, what is it with people, wanting to be famous? if you ask people what they want to be, there's always people that want to be famous or rich, because people think their life will be good the moment they do. I know so many people that have a goal in their life to be famous, and they are putting a lot of work into it as well. Although this might have to do something with that i'm attending a music "high school" (well, something in between high school and college,) but what should be the "goal" of your life should rather being satisfied, find a job you like, have friends, be recognized a little ) et cetera. If a person could manage to focus on these things, and working to manage these, the life would also be much better, as people don't always think that the grass would be greener on the other side/that i could have been living so much better if i was rich/famous.

Maybe it wears off once you exit the wildy? -.- That doesn't explain it sometimes actually teleblocking me does it now? sometimes, you get tb'ed the moment you click teleport on the zammy mage, and that tele is done, and therefore the tb is cancelled, as you're outside the wilderness... that have happened to me when pkers attack me as well, not being able to tele from the altar once, and once not being able to tele from that ghost place (note: this was before they updated tb to be cancelled outside wild)

sleep,nightmaires, must read
well, i almost never remember my dreams I dream at night, but this moment before you fall asleep, where your thoughts suddenly becomes a little "wild" is something i use to remember... When i was a little kid, i used to have some weird nightmares, which could keep me from falling asleep the whole night (waking up while you're about to sleep) Weird round, gray and soft forms, which i could see, before they suddenly got sharp, hard, and black... very often to occur during fevers =P luckily, i only have these about 5 times per year now, thank god... those are terrible =P

Runescape is my escape
well, i both agree, and disagree to this, Yes, when playing runescape, you do escape the reality, and that makes it possible to play for hours on hours. And that people can accept you as the one you are et cetera... I did play runescape pretty much, and it was really obsessing at times... just because of this. But almost half a year ago i quit rs, and to be honest, life have never been better, even though i don't have this way to escape reality it have been better (together with me moving away, et cetera) and my depression (that have lasted for over 3 years) became better. so while playing rs is very good in the moment you do play it, it's the other things that makes your life better, and you should never, no matter what, stay home playing instead of doing other things, socializing, doing other hobbies et cetera. No matter how hard it is, and no matter how little you want to see other people at that moment, as staying home playing only makes it worse (or at least doesn't help at all, in the long run)
-
Why'd you quit?
I decided to quit rs, as i really had better things to do with my life... i was moving away, more or less starting over a new life in a new place. also, the school I'm attending is really hard, and i simply don't have the time to play runescape anymore. And to be honest, it was really worth it, the only drawback about it, is that it becomes hard to chat with friends i have made in the game, and that's the only thing! =D and without a doubt, stopping to visit here at tif, is well over 10 times harder than quitting rs... believe me! =P

ULTIMATE Guide to B-Staving
although the content in this guide is good, not many people know about the kelp being the same as seaweed, the guide in general isn't that good. Try running over the guide again, checking out your spelling, and also, some of the teleports you have listed is really far away from khazard, and not much of a use...
