Hey do you guys have any little tips and tricks that help you every day. Post them here.

 

 

 

To start you off:

 

Place your runecrafting pouches on the second to bottom line. This way you can right click your pouch and your mouse will already be on empty. also if your pouch decays it jumps up to the top of your inventory.

In most skills, once you start the animation for making something, and you click to move, you either (a) run to that place without using energy for a short time, or (b)run really fast. (Depending on if your run is on or off)

 

 

 

Ex. When you start cooking your last lobster, and you quick-bank you run like a madman to the booth if run is on.

Don't do drugs

 

 

 

Or buy weed at the Cathy farming patch for 1mill its not a rare! :evil:

 

 

 

Also, when training all skills listen to music makes time go by faster and you get bored less.

Clan chats is your best friend :)

 

You should make a list of them ;)

Whenever someone offers you 28 free lobs don't trade them?

While smithing steel bars:

 

Gt 1 item thats weights 0kg and place it in the 28th slot.

 

Then get 9 iron and 18 coal out.

 

Then smith it into 9 steel bars

 

Go back to bank and withdraw all coal ore before depositing the bars.

 

Then deposit the bars and withdraw the iron ore.

 

 

 

This way you never have to type in the number 18 for coal or 9 for iron. With the 9 steel bars there there only 18 slots for the coal allowing it to fill up with "all" option.

If you stare into the RS screen for a minute you will disappear!

Here's an obvious one : Never wear combat armor unless you're training combat, being attacked or just showing off. It will slow down most skills terribly because of it's weight!

Know when to log out.

Use Ultimate Strength + Incredible Reflexes (If you have 31-59 Prayer)

 

Or

 

Chivalry (60-69 Prayer)

 

Or

 

Piety (70+ Prayer)

For your rings of dueling, keep them when they have 1 charge left. You can then alch them to save a very tiny bit of cash.

 

 

 

You can also have a stack of Ring of Dueling(1) in your bank, so whenever you deposit one it automatically puts it in the pile).

Can't try it right now, but, what exactly it does to improve your alching?

With tele jewlery, have a large stack of your maxed charges, then at least one of a smaller charge, and so on and so forth, so you dont have to always re-organize.

Staring directly at an activated computer screen is not good for your eyes.

this also works well for fletchign and herblore, just with 14 of each item.

Always research prices before you buy, so you don't get ripped off.

Can't try it right now, but, what exactly it does to improve your alching?

F6 is the hotkey for the magic menu, so if you mess up you can hop back to the spellbook without moving your mouse. It saves a bit of time, but more importantly it's much less annoying to do :wink: .

 

 

 

 

 

My trick is:

 

 

 

ALWAYS USE MOUSEKEYS for periods of extended/rapid clicking. It's much easier on your hands than clicking the mouse is, and a lot faster as well :) .

1. When firemaking, make sure the path west of you is clear of obstacles.

 

2. Organize your inventory. You'd be surprised how easy it is to locate certain things.

 

3. Organize your bank. You'd be surprised how easy it is to locate certain things.

 

4. Stronger arrows fall on the ground more.

 

5. Make sure you have full prayer at all times, you never know when you'll need it.

 

 

 

All I can think of now.

I have a little tip that I think can be usefull whatever you're doing in RS;

 

Have patience. :)

Holding ctrl while you walk makes you run. Don't know if it's any good. :P

if you are over twice a monsters combat lvl then they will not become agressive towards you anymore unless in the wilderness

im not so sure about that one, my lvl 33 always gets attacked by the lvl 7 dark wizards by varock. Maybe they just hate me?
