September 21, 201114 yr Eventful day... Mostly actually been sorting my plan (though I kinda just say that to get parents off my back and will probably improvise) for packing tomorrow/Friday to head back to Uni on Saturday. Anyways after packing all my books, DVD's, Games (I swear I have a mini library), my soundsystem, xbox, TV, cutlery and kitchen stuff etc, I have done a bit of RS. Traded in last weeks pengs as Random Events had got me below 30k to a RC level: Then went on to get 95 Range... Also yesterday I hit 14M Slayer exp :D Then onto 95 Mage... WOO for no boost Fire Surge! And then because I'm doing Mage/Range Slay (depends on task really) and I hit 95 Mage Abyssals decided to be kind and give me a present: That be Ferocious Ring 110 for the bank! Oh and my 3rd Abby Demon head... Turned into my first ever multiple whip task Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total.Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D

September 22, 201114 yr As far as I'm guessing, the main problem with the Staff's price is that the number of people who can use the staff are really a much smaller group compared to other popular items like claws or whatnot. Demand for this item is going to be naturally quite a bit lower as a result, so I'm not holding out for any huge price jumps as it is. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

I've done trips where I've gotten 12-14 shards. My past few trips have been 2-3? Sooooo mad. Lol. Edit 1:All today:Still just going for those last 7 shards for staff #2. Edit 2:Staff #2 made.Also got 2 more effigies getting the last 7 shards. :). So today was a good day.

September 22, 201114 yr More nostalgia :D Also the reason for the staff dropping so much is yes, because the quest is needed to use the spell. HOWEVER you CAN wear the staff without the quest. Another reason is because theres the boot drops there as well, which are more popular because anyone can use them and well, they're the best boots. And finally, people go there for the 1/67 effigy drop rate as well. It's good money and good effigies. Started free trade with 1.5m cash. 2 weeks later, have hit max cash 2x. PvP drops: 359 Brawling Gloves, 11 Vesta's Longswords, 41+ Zaros/Ancient Statues9 Dragon Full Helms, 3 Dragonfire Shields on the old PvP loot system Brawler guide is being finished!

I think I've heard that they have a 1/62 chance of dropping effigies, which means it's a one in 262k chance of getting three in a row on your next three kills. But since you probably only are going to count if you already got one effigy, it's better to say that it's a 4k chance of getting two more in a row after getting one effigy.

Must have missed it) x EiDoS x - 1x Bandos Chestplate Ardent Zach - 1x Bandos Tassest, 1x Godsword Shard 2, 1x Bandos Boots Funny stories:x EiDoS x sold his Bandos Chestplate to buy Turmoil - Got it back.Ardent Zach's lent Bandos Tassets were returned during the trip - Got them back.I was saying the entire trip, "Gimme my 5M Hilt!" - Got it.l Jiggs l sold her Bandos Chestplate for Turmoil - Got hers back in an earlier trip.
