The only solution I can think of is if Jagex implement to be like this:

Someone kills big bad boss, the item dropped is spawned for ALL players in the lootshare.

Just think, 4 people fight General Graador, 4 people all get bandos hilt!

NO WAY THAT'S NOT FAIR!!!!?!11!1111

It's bloody fairer then one person getting the best drop and then spending the rest of the year trading 3k to each person to split the profits. Im sure the market could adapt to accomodate such a drastic change.

Woo-[cabbage]-hoo

It's time you make team work worthwhile Jagex.

Or else suddenly people are going to be loners, and area's you spent months making (e.g. GWD) suddenly become pointless.

What a waste of your time, and ours! Sort it out. Now.

Group monster killing may not be dead quite yet. The new gravestone features seem to make it much easier to go back and get one's own stuff if you die. Need to research this more.

That's a good side to the update, fixes one problem but makes a whole new one, the one about not being able to fairly share loot.

Yeah I know. Not saying these updates are good, just looking for silver linings.

That's a very faint silver lining on a black, black cloud...

Abyss RCing is still alive, but it's extremely boring now. No abyss pkers to worry about, and where the hell are the revenant ghosts? Like 15 trips done after the new update and haven't even been attacked.

I hope Jagex also realizes that they killed pures. Pures were built to PK in shallow wilderness, but now that the only place you can PK for loot in is Bounty Hunter, their accounts are now officially useless.

It all sucks. I don't monster hunt myself, but i can see how Lootshare doesn't solve the problem which Jagex knew was going to turn up.

Hmmm....

I need a new siggy, get round to doing it later.

Probably.

RWT weren't nearly as big a problem as the mess Jagex have now created. Why don't they just close down the game? Much more effective way, quite frankly Jagex should really look into what updates will cause before they make such stupid decisions.

Idea: Use Grand Exchange to extremely inflate prices of something (I.E. Bronze warhammer) to the point where it's worth 100K or so. That way you just have to make a few, and use them as 100K in trade value.

P2P forever!... Or at least 'til <insert excuse here> happens

What the [bleep].....how the hell do they expct us to split freaking drops. Who the hell wants to go on a team to any boss knowing the only way for them to make monet now is to not only be lucky enough to get a drop, but to also be lucky enough that it is there owen god damn drop. Then where does this leave everyone else??

Yeah I am going to be totally honest and I am normally not this bad; This updating is mother [bleep]ing gay. no monster hunting or anything. Yeah real life traders were bad but jagex is about to lose a [cabbage]load of money...

Sorry mods in advance for saying all this but at least I didn't try to avoid the censors <.<

Since I saw that pking was over, I thought I could try out figthing greater demons in F2P. Then, out of no where (literally) a lvl 108 revenant-something came out of no where and hit a whopping 20 on me. 20! In F2P! Followed by two 15's, i barely escaped. trust me, you don't want to meet them. i was wearing full rune, 60 defence too, yet they all hit me 20-15-15

They need to let people assign "percentages" to certain ranks in their clan chat. Like, each rank would get x% of the loot. If you get a drop worth 10M and there are 4 people in your group, it would say Person A will receive x% of it when you sell it via the GE.

Yip.

Thats going to be the only way to do it really.

If the person that got the drop doesnt sell it, well then your still in the same boat as you were before if a person decided their greed and gp were worth more then their friends.

Thats funny you should say that, and maybe I can agree they are a bit tough for you F2p'ers, but like I said, only for you f2p'ers. :|

I mean they hit with magic attacks it seems for the most part and on your full rune and 60 defence of course it will hit high and often. Then again look at all of the P2p'ers with stats near at or above mine. Im sure they also would agree with me that these things are quite pitiful, as well as rare and dont seem to take all that much to either, avoid or eat untill you can run from them. (havent killed any yet and dont plan to either, cant find them really, was trying for ages only found a few. )

Since the drops were updated, I realised that, for example, at Dagannoth Kings, if someone got a Dragon Axe, they couldn't sell and split anymore.

Also worse is the fact that if you died at say, Armadyl, you might not be able to get the 40 killcount and get in to get your gravestone in time, and if you lag out, you lose everything regardless, making friends worthless.

LootShare.

I've Duo Mage DK'd 10 or 12 times, each time with LootShare. Each and every time, we have not even had to split loot afterwards, it was so ever.

As far as I'm concerned, sharing drops was more of a "Sorry you didn't get any real drops, take some of mine" kind of thing, not needed. Sharing loot is pretty much a gift to make up for your inadequacy.

Half-assed comments like that make me want to quit even more. I am talking about ULTRA-RARE drops, like an Armadyl Hilt. Do I see you getting enough hilts to keep for yourselves?

At Dagannoth Kings, in a 3-man trip, usually everyone is essential, i.e., no mage means Rex is on them all the time. And as for your "inadequacy" comment, some people don't have the luck of others, and most people that mage at DKs know what they're doing.

Well, unfortunately, everything is gone nowadays. Pking, Staking, Merchanting, Group killing, Boss monsters, Clan wars (not protect item garbage) Gift Giving Etc. Ruins most of the game. All thats left is soling and skilling,

Th prices won't drop extremly fast, but they will.

The GE keeps it from doing so.

Wow that's effective

option 1) Spend 30 seconds setting up trade on GE and buying bronze warhammer for 100k or...

option 2) 5 mins mining, smelting, smithing a bronze warhammer... idiot <.<

Did anyone also think about dragon imps?

Just say, one day I am skilling when I get a message from my friend: Dragon imp!!!

He follows it for 5 minutes until I finally show up, catch it, and get 300 Dragon arrows. Thanks mate, I go away and buy just stuff, lucky me, while my friend who did most of the work gets nothing.

It could also be the other way around where my friend says he found a d imp but he wants me to give it to him.

Why would I waste some time, espically if I was in the middle of something important, to give someone a d imp.

The whole idea of sharing the loot from imps, with friends, has now gone.

Also there will be less arrow stealers now, if you are training with dragon arrows you wont need to worry about someone picking them up.

Well, now that I've read about this a little more. I will just say this. I am glad that I quit 3-4 months ago when I did (One Day after My 17th Birthday, What a Present, eh?). Jagex seems to have ruined Monster Hunting, or, at least will in three weeks when they change the Unbalanced trading. Many monster hunters will be quitting in the coming weeks, I'm sure. What would even be the point anymore since the highest levels will normally get the drop and the money.

On that note, I believe Jagex is trying to "Fix" their game in a way where no one will be playing it anymore, So that they can move onto one of those many projects that you hear about, but never get to see. I hope the best for the Gowers. But their time with Runescape is drawning to a close. If the servers are still up for another 6-8 Months under the name of the Gowers, I will be amazed. They are are slowly loading the muzzle loader, now to add the primer and pull the trigger.

I said it once, and I say it again. "The Dagganoth Kings Lair will NEVER be the same again."

LootShare.

I've Duo Mage DK'd 10 or 12 times, each time with LootShare. Each and every time, we have not even had to split loot afterwards, it was so ever.

Do you HONESTLY know what you are talking about? I'm sorry, 10-12 DUO trips do no justice to 3-man, 4-man, Or the old school 5-Man Guthan trips. If you go down there without 1 man, you are screwed at might aswell leave for you won't be the most profitable. Granted back in the day I remember coming out with 12M worth of Solo Drops *Every* trip. (2-3 Drops every trip.) If you want to talk about this, or question it, I'll just get out some screenies. Ok, next time just learn what you are talking about. Dagganoth Kings are a TEAM Monster, Not a "sit in the corner" shooting Rex all day. Although that person is needed, he doesn't go unshared just because he didn't pull in a drop. It's the basics of TEAM Monster Hunting.

Have a good day. :)
