Concerning looking in the closet, found on page 237 (of at least this book) "...but she did find something. It was on the top shelf. Girlfriend's parents ended up staying home and watching movies, so we didn't get to get drunk. Before I went over to her house she had to run to her friend's house to drop off a few things, so I just stayed home and waited for her to get back. Her friend was having a party and this foreign exchange guy who goes to her school (has a huge crush on her, tried to kiss her multiple times before) was there. He asked her if she knew how to fight and she said yes. Apparently he started pushing her a little bit, just kidding around, but then he grabbed her just above her waist, picked her up, and slammed her down on the ground. Bruised the hell out of her ribs (I don't know if they're broken or not, but every time she moved tonight the pain was enough to make her cry). I spent the whole night sitting with her trying to keep her comfortable and calm when she'd start crying about every 10-20 minutes or so. She doesn't want me to go to jail though since I'm 18 now, so she told me I can't go kick this [bleep]er's teeth in. She also told me not to go talk to him about it either because she knows I won't control my anger and I'll end up doing more than talking to him. :rolleyes: I am so pissed off right now. This kid comes to our country, flirts with my girlfriend, then beats the hell out of her, and in a few months he'll get to go back to his country without any consequences for what he did. <_< 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. I've never played it before but since Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 was £5 on Steam sale I went and bought it and I'm finding it really fun. I've spent 9 hours on it in the last 2 days and I'm enjoying the game. I do kinda wish that the game let you have some sort of proper deck building since it's mostly pre-made decks which you can add and remove a couple of cards from - but that's it. I've found it a good (and cheap) introduction to Magic: The Gathering though. I would certainly struggle to play it IRL though since it's quite a complicated game and the engine does some things for you like sort out the effects of powers and stuff. It also makes me wish there was a good way to play Yu-Gi-Oh Online because from what I've heard, the proper game client is a bit shit =/ So yeah. Today I'll probably spend most of my time playing Magic. Though I've got a tonne of other games on Steam recently - Left 4 Dead & Left 4 Dead 2 probably being the biggest ones. Randox Posted January 1, 2012 Share Posted January 1, 2012 I feel like people with non essential jobs (so excepting police, fire, and medical) should be given the day after NYE the day off (rather than the day before, for those who get that day off or go home early). My thinking is, that on NYE most people get drunk, and a lot of people get super drunk. The next morning, you have all these people driving to work and they are either hung over, or still drunk. Not the kind of people I want to share the road with (actually, I just wont drive any place on the 1st if I can avoid, it, especially before lunch). And adding to the joy of drunk drivers on the way home last night (because you don't need to be blitzed to have fun :mrgreen: ) what uber fog. In some spots I'm figureing that visibility was under 100ft, even on kilometer long strait stretches. At least it slowed all the drunks down (I spotted a few). You also couldn't see oncoming traffic more than 300ft off, which was a bit disconcerting. I was a bit dissapointed at the lack of DUI checkpoints.
