April 18, 201214 yr Its been a stressful few days. My music hearing for my recital was yesterday and overall it went well. Recital is next Monday so its a go for it. Made the last payment for my trip to Austria as well, pretty pumped for this. I'm also going to be able to keep my job at walmart. I'm actually really happy about this to be honest. The store manager said I have been a huge help in electronics so they are willing to help me out and give me the extra days off for the trip. April 18, 201214 yr Just went to bring some resumes in town. Only one place that I could meet the manager, and when he looked at it said that if I could get my A+ certification and shorten my college year, I'd have the job. That's pretty sweet, considering I was going to go for the certification at the end of the college year. Means I'm going to change my plan, and negociate with the college to have a shorter year after getting my certification soon.

April 19, 201214 yr So its that time of year again when this house joins the student housing market. I know I have 2 returning, and 2 leaving, and 1 who doesn't know. Next time I see him I need to tell him that I am showing his room and ommiting the smallest one from the tour, and he has the largest room in the house (not the nicest though imo). See if that helps him make up his mind because all I need is 2 people with checks who want to sign, and he gets the small room. The downside is that since I do all the showings (since I live here), I am now the contact person <_< On the plus side, if I somehow ever got into real estate, its not bad experience. I need to try and make the house appeal to people, and judge whether or not I can live with them for a year (I still prefer this to having friends move in. I consider that to be a really good way to either not enjoy living here or ruin friendships).

Their both singing really flat, and it hurts to hear it. I have the same problem with karaoke a lot (I can't bear listening to people sing out of tune with themselves or the music. Gives me a headache). I skipped around a bit though, and they do a lot better on the higher notes, so it would probably help if the entire song we're in a different key that suited their voices.

Tomorrow the music department is getting an important visitor tomorrow. We are getting a hopeful new low brass teacher. He has doctorate in music performance on trombone, and a master on euphonium. Really REALLY excited because tomorrow he is going to tour the campus and have lunch with a few members on the band, then I get a lesson from him THEN he is going to sit on our band practice to observe and watch me conduct. So excited that I can't sleep.
