Speaking of stupid people... I'm in my "Multimedia" class right now. We make random [cabbage] in Adobe Director. You have no idea how much it pisses me off when the teacher says that we will "program" a game. We literally [bleep]ing copy and paste pre-written code and put in custom pictures, then the kids brag about knowing how to "make games". I think the teacher actually thinks this is what programming is :wall:

Ugh, I used to have this same situation in Photography. It's just so [bleep]ing weak.

 

Teenage angsttttt, my mum won't let me go to Leicester with my cousin tomorrow to support her for her uni interview. And now, what the flying [bleep], my mum was like 'oh, go with my son instead!' I have been replaced so easily!

I want a cigarette, I cannot have a cigarette so I will find some other form of release, perhaps halo or a soothing shower.

 

Today, I've not been up to much. I'm doing about the space age for Art so its very awesome and fun. Currently, I'm recreating nebula's with paint which is proving harder than I originally thought!

People have such a lack of foresight.

 

It's been cold and cloudy the last few days, this morning it was sunny. Everybody puts on hot sunny California gear and goes to school. In the 40s and artic-cold wind blowing. A simple step-outside or a look at the weather would of solved their problem.

Well, to most of the world 40 degrees F isn't cold. It is here. :mrgreen:

 

But you can't compare temperature by their latitude (or longitude)? Because England and most of Europe is at the same level as Canada...but not as cold. Water currents and other factors adds to that.

I was reading about people discussing their computer classes at school, and mine is the same. I took a programming class last semester and it was a joke, we used RealBasic which is an ultimate beginner program, and whenever someone asked my teacher how to do something he said, "look it up on *blahblahblah* website". I swear, I knew more then him...

Now this semester I'm taking web publishing (we design a website in DreamWeaver), and the entire class is just copy and pasting code from tutorial sites and adding our own info (this is in HTML). I basically finished the final project and everyone else is like, "duurrr what does <p> do????"

I'm pissed. Got my report card back today. Overall, i did very well - my lowest mark was a 78. That was in MUSIC. We're doing DRUMS. I''ve been playing drums since I was 9, and am probally better then the teacher, who's been playing for a few months.

I'm not sure I understand what I'm looking at here.

Took me a while, but the lines represent latitudes. In the original one, it's showing that the tip of California is at the same latitude as parts of like Minnesota and South/North Dakota, places where it's quite cold at times. The second line lines up the bottom tip of Florida with part of Alaska, as Alaska has been dropped down to the bottom corner. Going by where the latitude lines are, those areas should have similar temperatures. Since the picture shows Alaska and Florida on the same red line, they should have similar temperatures, aka Florida should be really really cold. But it's not, cause Alaska isn't really there on the map, it's way way up north. See, it's funny cuz the map is wrong. Ha. :grin:

I got up, ate McDonald's breakfast. (Sausage and Cheese biscuit and a Southern Style Chicken sammich), laid back down, got up and took a shower...and then got on RS, mined some Granite, went to Bandos and got crashed for walk-in Tassets. Went to the DK's and got nothing, and now typing this before I go to work 4-10.
