Laxaria
Quite technically they never said anything bout a 150th quest. Although there may be a possible set of prequel quests before the grandmaster quest begins. Nenga
You are counting swept away right? Also since they put the Halloween event in the quest index that might count. Neatly placing the quest at 150 : Anyway i'm looking forward to it. Ponies!

It IS comming this month. Read the November Behind the Scenes Please. Speaking of enemies, Zamorak was once mortal like the rest of us, but through clever manipulation and some devious planning he became revered as a god in Gielinor. The god wars that followed brought about great destruction and change it would be impossible to do that now, wouldnt it? What does it take for something like that to happen? Gathering some of the most important artefacts and keenest minds to research them would be a good start...but that is bound to attract attention, isnt it? Thats where our November quest will join things. Specialists and concerned dignitaries will be gathered to discuss the whereabouts of the Staff of Armadyl, an ancient and powerful artefact from RuneScapes distant past. All they will need is a willing adventurer to conduct the more interesting parts of the...investigation. mervinator_9
All this talk about the special November Grandmaster quest... when did they EVER say it was the 150th? As far as I can see, they didn't. I dont think they ever did tbh the hype machine about the 150th quest started long before they mentioned anything, Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,I like to think I walk this line every day. Lord_Shalaj
For all you know, if the storyline is very big, the quest may be split up into 2 parts. The second part which may be released next year would be the longest quest, and maybe both of these make up the Grandmaster quests? If you see, Jagex says this is the first Grandmaster quest..not necessarily the last! So this one makes quest 148, The phoenix which comes next year makes 149, so there we are :P Thanks.. Mercifull
Why does the grandmaster quest HAVE to be the 150th? Perhaps it will be like Stargate where they have a fun silly quest for the 150th. After all, the quest was planned for next year originally which means they didnt know when it would be finished and coulnt hold back loads of other quests just because they wanted it at 150. obfuscator
No, the quest does not HAVE to be the 150th. Who cares, really? At the same time, there is no proof anywhere that this month's "grandmaster" quest is in fact the huge quest they are reffering to. What? I was fairly certain that this quest would actually tie a few storylines together, and perhaps end them. :? I know it's speculation to say that, but it's also speculation to say that it won't. Kilo
Wasn't Mep2 like the 62nd quest? I don't think number plays a big role here, looking at Recipe for Disaster honestly, wasn't a hard quest. Will H
I don't think Jagex will draw much significance from the number 150, I think they'll just reserve the numbers 100n for major quests, and just give a mention of the number when the release the 150th quest, but won't beef it up because of that number. ~ W ~
Aneron
Given the recent release of the dragon forge and the armadyl guardians (everything the uberquest is speculated to be about), I'd say this quest is almost certainly the epic one jagex mentioned awhile ago. Mirror
Attaboy Den. Yeah, they have done stuff for 50, 75, 100, and 125, so it is just hyped that they will do 150 as well. I don't think this quest will be the one they were talking about. They did say this has the longest storyline, but that does not mean it is the longest quest. That's how I connotate it, so I'm just going to take this quest and run. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind. Mr_Adam
This is the FIRST of the Grandmaster quest, and as Jagex said, it is very storyline inclined. With my knowledge of things that invoke deep and winding storylines, this quest will NEVER END. It is just a placeholder that they can work on every 50th quest as to do something epic. Or, seeing as this may have not occurred to anyone, so I shall bold it, THIS QUEST WILL BE A 4 PART QUEST, AND THE TRULY EPIC FINISH SHALL BE QUEST #150. This would include a Prologue, a Rise of Events unto a climax, a Fall of events, into a climactic battle of the Mahjarrat and possibly another Godwars. This will induce the destruction of RuneScape, and Guthix shall create a new world - MechScape! Everyone in RuneScape will be sent to Ragnarok. EDIT: I was thinking of Ragnarok as the Final Battle in Heaven of the Gods, but Ragnarok is an event. Either way, the path to the east shall be opened!
