Theoretically you're supposed to have sex with one loved one, after marriage, that you cannot divorce from. Being naked is connected with sex, which unless its your wife/husband, its bad.

I'm sorry, but you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Nakedness is completely different than sex. It's one thing I really hate about modern society. And adultery means sex outside of marriage. Marriage was not mentioned, nor adultery.

The Juniors had dozens of pregnancy scares, but all but one turned out to be a false alarm. That kid had to drop out

 

The Seniors are the most STD laden, but I'm quite sure none were ever preggerz

How do you find out these statistics?

Because, whether you're religous or not, usually, it's an intimate experience, and as we all know, it's rude to talk about people's privates, I still don't know why... But, it's mainly tradition, people think that sex ed should be passed from parent to child etc. The reason why it's considered bad, is it's inappropriate, crass and rude. I mean, talking about sex can also make some people uncomfortable, because they're insecure about themselves.

I understand your point. It's possible for a situation to exist where a feather kills thousands of people. I'm speaking on a very general level of course though. More often than not, nuclear bombs are dangerous. More often than not, feathers are not. You people are taking my words far too far... I was just commenting on the way he worded it: "In no way is it bad." My point was that there are ways it can be bad. Generally, I don't think it's bad but that's not to say that no negative results come out of it.

Well it took a while, but i read all the posts, and i do mean all. Some made me lolz till i almost cried. Others were serious and on topic. Others still were just stupid. I don't know how i keep missing the good threads...makes me sad sometimes. lolz.

 

 

 

But anywho, there's just too much to be said for me to say it all in one thread. That plus as i was reading, i was getting ideas and by the time i finished reading or even got to the next page, they were gone. Point blank, sex is in fact,like many other things, subjective to the situation. Originally, with or without religion, sex was for a male and a female, who loved each other, to express that love, and eventually have a child. That's it. Like many other things however, today's society, or should i say certain people in the society, have changed the original meaning, and turned it into something else. Something that in some cases is no longer meaningful and just for "fun" now. Don't get me wrong, it is fun, but like i said, is supposed to mean something. If it doesn't have meaning anymore then it's just any other thing. Sex is in fact private, you just wouldn't want to see two people doing it randomly while on your way to the store. It's just wrong, and i believe somewhere inside everyone, those morals exist. I think people should take sex more seriously, as it is a good thing, that can and has been corrupted into multiple bad things. People who no longer have respect for the act of sex are literally failures of the human race(excuse the phrasing). Also, sex is not the root of all evil, most believe money is, although they are extremely intertwined, and it can be argued massively. I do not believe there is any one "wrong" that is worse than another. They should all be the same. Granted, stealing a pack of gum from a convenient store is nothing compared to a shipload of [insert important material here]. Lastly, religion is not to blame. Blaming religion is just ignorant. For the most part, religion only backed what just so happened to be morally and socially accepted at the time that coincided with their beliefs.

I like where you're going with that thought. I think that the core of both humanity and civilization lies in the conflict and in the madness that comes with it. We are torn, but we are happy being torn, because that's what makes us feel thoroughly human. Or something like that :.

 

 

 

Just look at how so many of our stories, tv-series, films,... revolve around unresolved sexual tension. Two people who we hope are going to get it on sometime, don't. Not just yet. This fleeting on the brink of two worlds, reason and passion, crossing the line and back again, are just so typical of this pull. Once the tension (=the conflict) is resolved, the story ends and we lose interest. And interestingly enough, the coin nearly always falls on the sex side.

Sex isn't really that bad, excluding things such as rape, incest, etc. I'd say it's fine if both parties consent to it. We are curious creatures, so we wonder about these things, and we try to explain them. Personally, I haven't had sex, but I would want to because I wonder what it's like. There's more to this, of course. Sex, in my opinion, would be one of those things you save for who you truly love, and you don't have to be married for it either. These things make us passionate. It isn't about reproduction completely either, as many others have already established.

You have to be 18 here, in Tennessee, but luckily, Kentucky is literally a 5 minute drive from here, where the age of consent is 16. I might just drive there to do it.
