But it's probably just their way of saying ip ban. Uhm catching somebodies real MAC address isn't the easiest thing: it's by default not possible in JAVA when you run a program from within a sandbox (the sandbox being firefox). And with routers MAC addresses can be cloned/faked and modified. (though it's not recommended and can lead to crashes). Only thing I'm aware off that really can be static is the processor identifier: and that's only possible to be retrieved with assembly. Don't think anyone at Jagex' headquarters knows ASM enough to use it in a commercial program. -- ow and that fix about µ is exactly what happened before today for the sign! Let's just hope they have dates about who said what: I used the µ sign (as said) a lot some weeks ago. Instead of going through all the code and finding out what was causing the game to crash when somebody typed in "µ" - They just made that symbol appear as nothing.
