bluehooloovo
Soloing the GWD bosses is gonna take forever if you can't use the GE - besides, if it's money we make from scratch, why can't we use that to buy supplies on the GE? (sorry if this has been answered, only read first post) Once I'm a member again I'll definitely solo Commander Zilyana from scratch with or without the GE, just curious as to why that's a rule tho.In my opinion (I'm obviously not the one who came up with the rules ;) ) it's because even gathering the money yourself, it would be too easy. The only skills you would need are combat. With the G.E. off limits, you have to have some decent skilling levels as well, instead of just combat. Lunar_Drifter
There should also be some skills related tasks in here, not just combat. For example, the quickest time to plant one full farming patch (2 watermelons, 1 ranarr, 1 limpwurt) or something like that. to craft one load of nature runes (not through the abyss). Also, a load using small, medium, and large pouches. to build a skill hall and fill it completely (one set of armour, fishing trophy, stuffed head, rune case, stairs, rug, etc). Include CW armour for combat challenge. to assemble and (successfully) cook a tuna potato. to make a super set from scratch to chop one of every tree (F2P) and (P2P). A different location must be chosen each time. to craft a suit of green dragonhide armour. Also, a yew bow and mithril arrows(p). Just some ideas. :) Have fun. I especially like this one  Completing a Slayer Task from Duradel (or any master really) is what I thought of as a challange although this couldn't really be timed and relies more on luck due to tasks. andufusthebronze
Won't time it because I won't get anywhere near as good as others. Are we allowed to take bronze picks/wc axes and shizzle from the skill instructors?
kingfooo
Skill instructor items: Go for it. Again, the point is get something new that you did not have before (like in your bank) or from another player. So quest items you can get (not from your bank), free stuff that is not from another player, and stuff in shops (shop stock) are all fair game. I'm getting very close to attempting mith dragons. Just need 2 more herb levels so I can make Anti-dragon pots (with a Greenman's Ale's assistance). I'm also going to try ftp scepter when I get the chance. LambShankz
Hardcore Greater Challenge, [hide=][/hide] [hide=][/hide] Forgot to show the seconds part of the clock on the second part but ohwell, 14-15 minutes anyway. Fished anchovies and shrimp by the fishing tutor and cooked them in barbarian village (The random cooked meat spawns on the table in barb village so I took it to replace the nets spot). Found the iron kite on my way to the demons by the chaos dwarves.

Outsanity
Ok...so I thought I'd give a challenge a try just for fun, and decided the Hardcore f2p Greater Demon Challenge was easy enough. What I did: 1. Started exactly at 9:07:00PM. 2. Killed 3 men in lumbridge to obtain 9 gp. 3. Bought 8 pots and 1 bucket. 4. Picked 8 wheat north of lumbridge. 5. Ground 8 wheat and collected 8 buckets of flour. 6. Walked back to lumbridge and used bucket on the fountain to make 8 bread doughs. 7. Cooked 8 bread doughs into 8 Bread. 8. Obtained a training sword and shield at training tutor. 9. Began trek to wilderness Greater Demons north of Clan Wars. 10. Picked up an Iron Kiteshield from respawn near chaos dwarves on the way. 11. As I got to greaters I was teleblocked and attacked by a level 126 Revenant Knight! 12. I fought the knight for a few turns then decided to make a run for it. 13. Ran north east and unintentionally got him stuck behind the greater demon ruins. 14. Fought and killed the greater demon with only 9 hp left. 15. Picked up my loot of 220 gp. 16. Walked calmly over to the Revenant Knight to face my fate. Start time: 9:07:00PM End time: 9:22:54PM Total run time: 15 Minutes and 54 Seconds. |2,300+ Total|138 Combat|12 Lvl 99 Skills|99 Slayer|
Outsanity
Ok...just did regular f2p Greater Challenge and was a little more successful yet STILL with a revenant knight attacking me. All I did was: 1. Run to wilderness and attack demon while praying. 2. Revenant attacks so I switch my protect prayer to deal with his ranged attacks. 3. I kill demon with 27 hp and 13 hp left. 4. I auto retaliate on the revenant and suffer the same fate as last time, though same as last time, after I have completed my challenge. :) Start time: 9:41:00PM End time: 9:47:34PM Total Run Time: 6 Minutes and 34 Seconds |2,300+ Total|138 Combat|12 Lvl 99 Skills|99 Slayer|

ydrasil
Barrows from scratch took me 1:27:25 (hours:minutes:seconds). Took a few pictures along the way: [hide=Pictures] [/hide] The last two might appear out of order, but they aren't. I left the chest and went back to safespot Verac. llVIU
That's actually what I do most of the time I enter the wilderness and finish what I had to do there, it's quite fun My favorite is running around, trying to get better and better armour, even making it myself from scratch, also, collect all the junk food to survive and kill monsters for hopefully good drops, as my equipment and food increases in quality, I can kill higher and higher level monsters! :D I think wildy has every material needed to make from bronze to rune armour It's no fun for me if it's not wildy, and you start from zero so there's not much to lose anyway Goal: getting all skills to
