Haha very good question. To be honest it varies a lot, mining is closer to click here to continue button when opening effigies but sometimes I randomly press smithing too. I am still working on the interview, very hard to say when it's ready because I keep coming up with more and more things what I want to say about my runescape history. Been playing runescape for like 9 years so there are so many memories.

 

Many people have been asking for my task list but I don't really have any exact task list at the moment. Quote from like 1 month ago, Xensure explained it very well.

He mostly follows Vex's effigy slayer list that vex posted in his effigyscape thread, but sumoi also does other tasks that he "feels like doing." So those tasks are probably some combination of profit, effigies, and slayer points. He probably doesn't worry too much about charms since he will have a lot of melee xp left are 200m slayer.

 

Those task lists numbers were grossly inaccurate. The NPCs were correct for the most part with the maximum lists. But the optimal list was far off. I have made several changes to the model since then and have had some help from people over on Aasiwat's forums with the data. So far I have 103 of Viv's tasks and 198 of Elessar's task with no blocks, but this sample size is still too small to accurately predict the probability of assignment. My formulas for calculating the expected number of each NPC killed are solid, but the problem comes down to the data. Since I don't play, I can't test my self and that means I rely on others so the going is slow. As of now there isn't much I can do. I will edit the look of the model and make it user friendly so that people wondering about what tasks they want to do can play around with it, but the out put numbers will still be scaled quite far off until the probability of assignment becomes more accurate through larger samples.

 

Been changing my block list a lot too because the tasks I get are so random. I have been thinking about keeping a log of all the tasks I get but I always try to change tasks as fast as possible and sometimes I have to skip like 10 tasks in a row. Of course it would only take few seconds to write them all down but the time would add up.

 

Anyways when the interview is ready I will post here about it.

I wouldn't read too much into the list as it's only useful as a starting point. The most glaring fault is it doesn't factor money for the buyable skills, it should atleast account for this aspect even if it's set at an incredibly high rate like 30m/hr, in running some numbers this my head this isn't a bad figure at all taking into consideration possible present wealth(although highly variable) and money making methods. There also are smaller problems like ability of the person to maintain maximum exp rates for extended periods and there hasn't been a method of obtaining '162k fishing exp/hr' for several weeks now unless I'm missing some obscure method - realistically it should be 130k tops.

I'm always surprised at drumgun's time but it simply because he get so few effigies. I'm only 1000 hours behind him :P

 

Wow so Suomi has cut about 340 ought hours in his remaining time since your last update right? Considering that was about 7ish days ago (so he had approximately 168 hours if he lives in the same dimension as us) does that mean he is training slayer at a faster rate than what you got in your formula or does effigies actually have that big of an effect in saving time?

 

I guess the actual answer could be both, didn't think effigies saved time to that extent though.

To add to what Hehasnoidea said, Thai's chart is another way to view the highscore. It takes a picture of where everybody stands at this moment and makes the assumption that every player have the funds for the buyables and go for maximum XP rates. I'll post later the top 15 (plus Tg and Dapledo) in the 5 slowest skills to show why that 2K hours from Suomi is impressive.

This shows why Suomi has a 2K lead in hours, why Dapledo is near the top also even though he's nearly 400M xp away from entering the top 15. Also note that aside from Suomi (3 skills) and Tezz, no one else in this chart has a slow skill at 200M.

Yeah I wrote Fishing twice, but the chart is correct.

 

As for woodcutting, I think it would be the 6th skill, unless C2 fishing is still above it, I had the impression it was reduced significantly by Jagex.

c2 fishing is still faster than woodcutting teaks with an adze, but of course woodcutting comes with firemaking xp and c2 fishing comes with your lower floors done, so it's hard to tell really. You probably can't do most of your fishing xp with c2 while getting 200m dg only, you will have to do a lot of plain c2s. For that I think wc + fm is a bit faster.

but i do think u shuld make another chart but add woodcutting to it it accually is pretty slow in terms of hours to go

 

and yes for someone wondering about the effect of effigy they have a huge effect even if using on buyables the lamps if used on rc or slay cut the time down alot.

 

i like langers chart better especcially if it counts woodcutting =p woodcutting monthly record is about 40m exp and the next 35-38 so thats pretty slow lol

 

and well yea not countin money making does disadvantage the people with lots of buyables i think the time chart doesnt count fletch at all when alot of people used broads for 200m fletch so thierfore = time spend training fletching =p

 

but u cant really put an hourly rate on moneymaking most money isnt really made per hr and that hr only spent making gp alot of money is made by luck or merchanting at the right time....and even if ur doing frost its not only money per hr but ur luck of effigy that can decrease ur time to go...

MAX Thieving Xp rate with no mistakes: 320.0k xp/h. As you guys assume no one makes mistakes in your calculators, probably should change 300k to 320k :P

Yeah I changed that on my thread for getting 200m in all skills but didn't change it for the spreadsheet yet. Things change pretty much every time I do a time update so there's not much point in comparing with previous times to see who progressed the most until it finally stops changing.
