He doesn't play that much, doesn't have many easy exp skills left, and yeah personally I find Aasiwat a better overall skiller. He's already struggling to gain exp on Aasi as it is, wouldn't that only get worse once he has to move onto the harder skills? Or did I miss something like Aasi quitting and Jdela announcing that he's planning to become best nolifer 2011 lol XD? Thanks for clearing that up, and sorry lol still used to highest overall exp = #1 overall XD I am still dumbfounded as to why Jagex hasn't made an option to be able to sort the highscore boards by either total level then xp (like it currently is), or by total xp then total lvl. I am almost positive that the databasing program they use to store the highscores has that option built in to it. They just haven't enabled a GUI feature for it; which could be as easy as making the titles 'Level' and 'XP' clickable to sort in descending order. Well, you can't multitask everything in RS so he might as well sacrifice a few hundred multitasking hours for rank 1. I multitask as much as possible but if I was in his position I'd get 120 since it's not that hard. Famous people can always get into a good team so he wouldn't have a problem with that. Elvis and Telmomarques are both outraining him at a 3:1- 2,5:1 ratio at the moment. They are about 4-5 months away from him at their current pace although the more XP you get, the less fast skills you have remaining usually. Rawrsicles Posted December 13, 2010 Share Posted December 13, 2010 Hmm well if telmomarques keeps slayer until 200m at his current rate, he will get 200m slayer while getting 120m xp per month (30m xp per week from slayer, effigies, and farming only). I remember I met telmomaruqes a couple (don't remember exactly), when he was going for 200m cooking (at a very fast rate I should add), never though I'd see him get to the top so quickly, but he's just a beast with those xp gains. But i'm just wondering why he's using his herb/hunter effigy on herb instead of hunter? From what i've heard and seen, I thought he had a lot of money stored up lol. On another note, Tezz has reached 1,7B xp, a mark that will become the floor for top 15 once Green098 reaches it. He's managed it for a short burst or two of like a week or so in the past on very rare occasions, but never long-term. If it was in terms of time it took to get all 99s or something I figure lilyuffie88 would be at the bottom v wouldn't account value be the total ge values of everything in someone's bank? xpx Posted December 13, 2010 Share Posted December 13, 2010 It's actually easy to see why zarfot is on the top of that list- he is a newschool player(major advantage), doesn't pk regularly, is among the top of total xp(the only hard thing about the list is getting all 99s, after that you can train as many easy skills as you want) and knows how to/wants to merchant(as most costly skills are fast). And i wasn't detesting the point of that table or anything like that, rather referring to the need for people to label everything efficiency. Most maxed players spend their cash on skills, not store up on it. The list wouldn't tell you much other than who has the most unspent cash over the amount of time played. I can say that Ox is #1 atleast, which just means that if he ever came back, he'd have a lot of cash to use on buyable skills. Amethyst_Gem Posted December 13, 2010 Share Posted December 13, 2010 Players who have been around a long time are at a distinct disadvantage - look at Thehate, Lilyuffie88, Ashley, Whitemagem, Samanthanz - all big in RSC/very early rs2 days, all near the bottom of the list. On the other hand only a couple of the top 30 were playing for more than a year before the ge came out, making runescape massively faster. And I don't think anyone on there above Empror1 had been heard of back then (pre-GE). Very impressed with how high up he manages to get as a longer term runescaper. langer Posted December 13, 2010 Share Posted December 13, 2010 Players who have been around a long time are at a distinct disadvantage - look at Thehate, Lilyuffie88, Ashley, Whitemagem, Samanthanz - all big in RSC/very early rs2 days, all near the bottom of the list. On the other hand only a couple of the top 30 were playing for more than a year before the ge came out, making runescape massively faster. While this is true, since the GE came out, all these players you mentionned have been in the same playing field as the current leaders. If they had kept the same pace, they would have more XP than the current leaders. XP/Hr is only good on a given short period of time, between major game changing updates. Old timers are at a disadvantage because they chose not to train fast skills, quit for some time or simply stopped racing with the others.
