January 21, 201313 yr I'm a little disappointed that the ancient staff was selected for a stat upgrade. There are enough higher tier staves in the game already, and to nearly everyone doing the elite set the upgrade wont be useful (Unless its incredibly OP). I'd have preferred to see darklight upgraded really I like how the Ancient Staff is totally jagexed into the task set.Kill a desert strykewyrm with one?They are stab weak jamflex! STAB.They use ranged attacks and are strongest against magic.So WHY oh WHY must we will them with a stave equipped, not to mentioned the fact we also have to be wearing a slayer helm with 50 scrolls in it for no apparent reason. January 21, 201313 yr I am quickly getting the impression that Jagex has become incompetent. I am expecting any day now for them to announce the game has been unprofitable for over a year and they are going to just shut down half the worlds, quit doing updates, and move onto other games.
