Why exactly are we so pumped up about port score at this point? it'll still take atleast a month before anyone can max it and you can get the update at that point(assuming you want it..). I assume some are worried about having this thing in the hiscores.

Why can't you max it yet?

Assuming Chenw has the most scrolls anyone can reasonably have, there's still another 30 days of scrolls to get at least, if you get one per day.

Personally I'm at a measly 25 scrolls with 2040 port score, leaving 55 scrolls to get, worth 165 points.

Derp. Didn't think about scrolls effecting score.

I'm not, I just have a ton of port resources lying around so might as well.

Also, yes you can go back to nautical shipwright once upgraded to the highest upgrade currently available. Nautical is on par with the steel upgrades, but it's significantly less port resources. Not sure how that one works out.

I built the Warship Shipwright. I should build one of the others upgrades (Luxurious and sleek I think it is?) and then I'm set for port score in the shipwright section, correct?

Untill you go back to Nautical...

Nautical is more useful for overall stats because you get bonus to SF, which has slightly lower by default due to lack of figurehead

I think port score is based on a history of what you've built, not on what you currently have built.

So due to a combination of tiredness and Jagex's dumb system, I made three superior Lotus Hoods instead of just one because the retarded make x system has the quantity set to maximum by default.

Ended up getting a friend to kill me to get the money from them as they're not stackable either.

Nobody would want to make multiple parts of the same superior piece in one go, so [bleep]ing dumb.

I suppose the time to repair is also random

it's usually one hour

direct repair costs seem to have been brought down from the extreme "half of a randomly chosen stack of resources" to "50ish"

That's unfortunate. I know this probably doesn't help now, but what I try to do is, as soon as I get enough resources for an armour piece (and if I have the scrolls), I make the armour right away. That way I can never accidentally make multiples.

Not sure about the top and legs but I got 4m per hood.

Puts the floor value around 100k per plate/chi/lacquer. So a duo resource voyage with a merchant should be worth at least 1.3m, and an ordinary Pincer one is 600k. That's good to know.

Assuming this holds true, the tradable hats should settle at no less than 3m. Tops and bottoms shouldn't be any lower than 8m and 5m, respectively--probably higher because they're harder to make than hats.

Doubtful, I've had two chunks of ~500 steel taken out over the last few days.

That's not true at all.

More correctly (imo) is that the morale boost is more important because there are more (useful) missions that require morale than there are that require seafaring. Of the six adventurers, three require morale, one single (Convict) and two double (Occultist and Biologist). Similarly, three require combat (Assassin, Occultist, Missionary) and three require seafaring (Whaler, Missionary, Biologist). No difference there, but of the standard trade good voyages, four require morale (Return Home, Smuggling Job, To The Rescue, The Cure). The fifth, requiring only seafaring and combat, provides spices, which aren't too valuable. Also note that Return Home is pure morale, where all other standard trade good voyages are doubles or triples. The jump from, say, 18000 to 18360 is bigger than from 17000 to 17340 (so it will return more trade goods in the end), even if it is a small difference.

Today's patch notes say that adventurer rerolls can once again be obtained, so there's your answer :P. Maybe it was a hotfix to stop 100% adv reroll chance?

Still getting 1 random/day even though I'm sending 5-6 voyages a day tops, seems to be no problem.

What? I don't understand what they fixed with regards to adventurer rerolls, I thought those were working fine?
