May I ask whats the point in this thread all it's doing is making fun of people for being new to the game. We were all new once and if you say the word "Noob" I have no respect for you. Seriously this is quite Jerk like behavior.

Actually, "newb" means new to the game. Noob mean annoying person who's trying to either get out of working (by scamming you, begging you, etc.) or simply is trying to hurt someone's feelings.

 

 

 

We're making fun of scammers, beggers, flamers, and the like. :)

 

 

 

Most of us are very friendly to honest people.

 

 

 

Maybe I've lost some knowledge over the years but when I first joined (04) it meant someone new as short for "Newbie."

This just happened like 3 minutes ago, not really funny but anyways:

 

 

 

I was on my level 4 account runecrafting water runes, and then I found out that I brought the wrong talisman when I got to the atlar (doh!). I was walking back to the bank but then I saw a level 63 standing next to the hole near the altar and a big pile of money and a black 2h. So I picked up the money (11k) and the black 2h and proceeded to leave. The lvl 63 started to follow and beg me for the stuff and threatened to report me for "stealing" his stuff. Eventually I got it out of him that he was dropping stuff to his other accounts. He kept begging until we reached lumbridge castle where I logged out after going up the stairs :)
