I hope so, and if they do they should do so only people within 10 Combat levels of each other can stake, this would solve the real world item trader problem. To be honest, I can't see why they wouldn't do that #-o

I agree, it's really unnecesary, I have proven this point to RC PKers by doing this: When they are constantly trying to kill me every round I run to the Zamorak Mage, every round I get done I tell them how much money I have made while the RC PKer has been trying to kill me. Once I got up to 250K or so and then he left

Clues, Secrets, and Forgotten Eggs about Summoning
Ezz replied to Locutus_Of_Borg's topic in General Discussion
The Behind the Scenes picture was a Wolpertinger, not a Jackalope :P As you said about the Spirit Wolf, you can see that by copying the address of the picture. Another hint of Summoning: Tarn's Lair, in the end after you killed Tarn you can read his diary, and basically it's a diary about him summoning things :P -
Haven't really got an opinion about that since I haven't met one before, except the ones I already know in real life. I would think that it would be rather cool, but I wouldn't trust a person, could be people out there who would want to do anything to steal your account. I am paranoid, I know :uhh: But it was one of my longterm friends on RuneScape I'd be okay with meeting him/her in person, although it might be quite awkward :anxious: Depends who you meet really :

I believe this update was totally unnecesary, even though it didn't affect me. I'm really scared that they might delete almost the whole game until there aren't any real world item traders left :( The simple solution to this staking problem would just to make so that only players within 10 Combat levels of each other would be able to stake... I believe dropping things might leap a risk of being deleted too :ohnoes: They might change it so you have to use the destroy option for everything instead of dropping things on the ground. The only way for things to travel from player to player would be through the Grand Exchange... If that happens I'd quit (no I'm not like one of those pures saying that to threaten) because then I would have lost my trust in Jagex' way of taking care of the game...

"We will giving small hints so you can guess the BIG update"
Ezz replied to Suiku's topic in General Discussion
Yep, they released this information so that people "forgot" about the staking thing... It worked for me... For an hour... :( -
Great article! You really amaze me with your articles :D (And Dune is great :D I love the quotes from it :)) Best solution for the staking problem: make it so only people within 10 Combat levels of each other are able to stake.

Yep, they released this Achievement Diary to mislead us from the unhappiness of the deleting of staking. Worked for me, for an hour............ :( :uhh: :|

I liked it all, especially the PC update :D Thought it was too easy before and too fast xp. But there's one thing I didn't like this year and which I think was the worst update I've seen in my 3 years of playing... Yes, the deleting of staking :( Edit: Yay, realised I'm a Unicorn Horn now, hehe :D

Learning to Look at Trade Screen The Hard Way...
Ezz replied to thegarrett73's topic in General Discussion
It's an arguable subject if he should have accepted or not. But I know that I wouldn't, things like that have happened to me a couple times, declined every time. I'm just too nice :XD: -
Ahem.... New thing for next year is summoning...
Ezz replied to Goldenjkered's topic in General Discussion
Yay! I knew it :D And people who kept telling that Summoning isn't going to come out, I guess they learnt a lesson, just like with player owned houses  Never doubt a theory for no reason :shame: Anything can happen when Jagex is in charge :D Including deleting a great aspect from the game for no apparent reason, seriously, why didn't they just only let people within 10 levels of each other stake... -
It's 25k posts now if you count the Recent Updates sticky too :ohnoes:

Jmod quote from RSOF regarding real world trading
Ezz replied to mario_sunny's topic in General Discussion
There is another way to resolve it which is very simple... Just do so that only people within 10 Combat levels of each other can stake each other -.- Since 95% (or more) of all real world item traders are Combat level 3. I've posted this solution many times, I gotta admit. -
Well they might as well just delete Woodcutting, since so many bots are using it as an income. If they deleted Woodcutting they'd move over to some other less profitable skill. Exactly the same as the Duel Arena update, now all the real world item traders have to do is drop trade instead -.- So unnecesary. Edit: Oh and by the way, they didn't ruin the Duel Arena staking, they deleted it really :(
-
Hahaha, so they fixed X logging and then just totally deleted staking, what was the point with fixing it if they're just going to delete staking anyway? Seriously. Hehe, wow, now X loggers can't scam me off of 3k :D
-
*Loosing my trust for jagex by the minute* What's next? Are they going to delete Woodcutting since so many bots use it to make money? Seriously, this update didn't really affect real world item traders at all, now they could just drop trade in some remote area if they want -.-
-
This update was the worst I believe (I reaaaally hope they change it). Second was Pure Essence. Third was Wilderness ditch (didn't have much impact, but still, it showed how stupid the community is really). Other than that I can't think of anything. I thought the PC update was good, we were getting xp waaaay too fast.
-
It won't affect them so much, I bet they could just drop trade with the person -.-

'It's not a dictatorship, it's a game." = Perfection?
Ezz replied to n_odie's topic in General Discussion
I feel sorry for the stakers :( They should have left the old Duel Arena be. Besides, real world item traders will probably just ignore this, it's not a big deal to them, they can always just drop trade -.- -
They should take drop parties (dropping items on the ground) out while they're at it -.- You know, drop trading  And at the same time they should just delete Woodcutting from the game because that's where all the bots are these days Seriously, staking was like a skill before, a great way of making money, and they just practically deleted it. And it didn't really help that much anyway, because the real world itemers could just drop trade with people if they liked... Totally unnecesary. I feel sorry for the stakers :(

20 November 2007 - Duel Arena Tournaments and Changes
Ezz replied to Aneron's topic in General Discussion
I like the new Tournament thing, it's very nice :) But... The 3k limit thing really ruined a big part of the community :( A lot of you might say "omg they're stupid pures, who cares". Well, some of them are, but to be honest, the 'stupid pures' are mostly in the Wilderness. There are more honest players among the stakers. And besides, they're real people. People should stop thinking about themselves in their own little gaming world all the time and grow up. I hope that my friend who is a dedicated staker doesn't quit after this :( -
I feel really sorry for the stakers :( And one of my best friends in real life is a really dedicated staker, I hope he doesn't quit :(

Monday Poll: Have you ever been scammed by a friend?
Ezz replied to MPM's topic in General Discussion
A person on my friend's list attempted to scam me once, I had known him for 4 days, he seemed like a nice person. He then started talking about a new hidden update which was a minigame in the Lumbridge caves... I was like: Hmm... :-k He told me he'd give me everything I needed to get through the caves and I should take my melee gear. I played along except I took a bullseye lantern with me too. He gave me a candle of course. After like 3 minutes of walking around in the caves he logged off. Pretty sad really :boohoo: -
If you're not willing to uphold the rules of a game, then get the **** off of a fansite dedicated to said game. Don't worry, common sense like that will form once you hit your teenage years. so if your part of something you cant dislike a rule or law that goes with it? if thats the case half of all americans should leave the country. dont worry, common sense like that will form when you hit the teenage years of your life. That's easy to say I guess, but a country is totally different you know :-s It's quite easy to leave a Forum in comparison to leaving a country. A country is not only a bunch of rules and laws, it's also culture and all that etc. like a way of life. And a forum, well, I hate to break it to you, but it isn't such a big part of your life. So if you don't like the community in a forum, you could just change to some other forum that suits your maturity needs, (insert random flame about low maturity/age here :P).
